Watch: Gutfeld Shouts 'There Ya Go' as Dagen McDowell Pounds Juan Williams over Collusion Lies

Share

During a Friday segment on Fox News’ “The Five,” the program’s co-hosts discussed Attorney General William Barr’s efforts to get to the bottom of how the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion narrative originated.

Over the course of that discussion, Fox’s Dagen McDowell absolutely steamrolled liberal “The Five” co-host Juan Williams with a righteous rant over his dismissive attitude toward Barr’s efforts, as well as his blind acceptance of the dishonest “fake news” published over the past few years by the establishment media.

McDowell first addressed how liberals like Williams have attacked Barr’s credibility out of concern that he might actually expose the misdeeds that occurred under the administration of former President Barack Obama.

“They’re trying to discredit him because they are worried. People who worked in the Obama administration, in the FBI and in the CIA and in the intelligence community, they’re worried,” McDowell said.

“Whether it’s [former CIA Director John] Brennan or [fired FBI Director James] Comey, or even subordinates of both of them, they’re worried about what Bill Barr and [U.S. Attorney] John Durham and the [DOJ] Inspector General Michael Horowitz are going to find,” she said.

“It’s not silliness, Juan, if there was corruption,” McDowell added, turning to Williams and referencing his earlier dismissal. “It’s not silliness if there was an abuse of power.”

“And you know why Hillary Clinton is being quiet about this?” she asked.

“Because the [Democratic National Committee] and Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid for that dossier, which could be disinformation by Russia,” McDowell said,

Do you love seeing liberals like Juan Williams get slammed with the truth?

McDowell was referring to the infamous Steele Dossier, which was paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign. The dossier made unproven and salacious allegations that linked Trump and his campaign to Russia.

“If you read the whole Mueller report … [it] basically discredits big, big elements that were in that dossier,” she added.

McDowell pointed out that Comey had previously attempted to portray himself as ignorant of the true origins of the anti-Trump dossier.

“He was running the FBI, they got a warrant on an American citizen — to spy on him — and he didn’t know that?” McDowell said of Comey’s claimed ignorance. “That is balderdash and hogwash and mm-hmm, we all know it.”

Turning back to Williams, she cited a poll that he had referenced earlier on the show and noted how it showed that 58 percent of respondents believed it was at least “somewhat” likely the FBI broke the law when it started investigating the Trump campaign.

“The millions of Americans who don’t trust what went on in intelligence and the FBI under the Obama administration, they deserve answers, and there’s nothing wrong with a thorough look at it, because again, it disrupts democracy in this country,” she shouted, while banging on the table for emphasis.

“The Five” co-host Greg Gutfeld could only chime in with a “There ya go” in support of McDowell’s righteous rant.

Williams, for his part, claimed Barr was simply trying to punish prior investigators.

There’s no need to investigate the origins of the dossier, he said, as all one has to do is “pick up a newspaper, it’ll tell you how this started.”

With that, McDowell absolutely exploded with disbelief.

“Yeah, the press that lied to us for three years about Russia? Liars, all!” she said.

McDowell was absolutely right to call out Williams over his dismissal of efforts to fully reveal the origins of the years-long false narrative of and related investigations into allegations of conspiracy and collusion between Trump and Russia.

Millions of Americans are similarly frustrated at the blatant dishonesty that has been shoved down this nation’s throat by Democrats and their establishment media allies for the past few years.

Just like McDowell, we aren’t going to quietly take it any longer.

That’s because we know the real truth will soon be revealed, much to the dismay of blind partisans like Williams.
