Video: Sinema Camp Laughs at Idea She'll Support AZ Values, Calls McSally C***

Share

I’m fully aware that there are always two different versions of each political candidate: The public one and the private one.

The public one loves America, freedom, equality and big-headed babies. On the other side, you have the private version, which tends to be a bit more … well, honest about what they’ll foist upon their constituents.

While this is nothing new, we’ve never quite seen a gulf as wide as that created by Arizona’s Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, currently running for the Senate seat left open by the coming retirement of Republican Sen. Jeff Flake. Her opponent is Republican Martha McSally, a former combat pilot who retired from the United States Air Force as a full colonel.

You’ve probably already heard about some of the things she’s said about voters, calling them “crazy,” stay-at-home moms “leeches” and her state the “meth lab of democracy.” She’s still within striking distance, however, at least if the polls are to be believed.

Thankfully, Project Veritas could change all that.

In an undercover video the conservative group released Monday dedicated to covering her campaign, Sinema officials openly scoff at the idea that she’ll promote the pro-Arizona values she’s talked about during the campaign, with her staff saying they have no idea what that actually means.

They seem to be awfully gung-ho on gun control, even as Sinema acknowledges in the video that if you talk about banning guns in Arizona, “they’ll shoot you.”

Oh, and apparently at least one campaign donor took a stand for civility, saying that Sinema can’t do “anything that’ll alienate any voters … gotta be all ‘Martha McSally is a c**t and uh, and (Sinema is) good.’”

Check it out here.

So, first, on that values part: “She’s going to stand up and protect Arizonans’ values,” a woman identified as Madison Snarr, a field organizer for the Sinema campaign, told a Project Veritas operative. “Whatever the f*** that means.”

One Arizona value is probably standing up for the Second Amendment. Yet, here’s a woman identified in the video as Sinema’s campaign manager, Michelle Davidson: “I think Kyrsten’s approach is so, I think, important. We can’t be talking about an assault weapons ban.”

Davidson, whom the Arizona Republic identifies as Sinema’s congressional district director, admits Sinema can’t campaign on gun control issues per se, but she can issue clear dog whistles.

“So we can’t talk about that (assault weapon bans) right? So what Kyrsten … the conversation that she can lead is how do we get to a place where we can, background checks… We’ve got to fix the gun show loophole, we have to fix the background check system. We’ve got to make it harder for people who have been convicted of domestic violence and other violent crimes to get guns — I mean those are the conversations we can have.”

Do you think Krysten Sinema will win in Arizona?

Illegal immigration is probably another issue where Arizonans aren’t too jazzed about amnesty or open borders. Yet, listen to Sinema talk about it: “I believe that we should offer citizenship to every person in this country who isn’t bad. You know, if you haven’t committed a bad crime, you know, then you should get a path to citizenship. That’s what I believe.”

If you haven’t committed a “bad” crime. Apparently, entering our country illegally doesn’t count.

Sanctity of life? Another Arizona issue where Sinema seems to have dropped the ball.

“There’s a lot of very conservative people in Arizona and so (Sinema) can’t alienate the conservative or moderate conservative voters by being super pro- she is pro-choice,” a woman identified as field organizer Lauren Fromm said. “She is very liberal, she’s progressive.”

However, she’s not advertising that, since Fromm acknowledges Sinema “has to capture all the moderate voters” because “Arizona is a red state.”

A man identified as Sinema donor Steve Andrews says he thinks Sinema’s a liberal “but that’s not always a way to win in this state.”

“She probably is (progressive) in her heart, but she knows to survive and get elected, she’s gotta walk the walk a little bit. And I respect that, I’m tired of losing,” Andrews said.

Perhaps not a profile in courage, but at least a profile in honesty. The honesty continued in a manner most inadvisable for Andrews.

“(Sinema can’t do) anything that’ll alienate any voters at this point in time,” Andrews said. “It’s gotta be all good. It’s gotta be all ‘Martha McSally is a c**t’ … But she’ll be a vote… She’ll vote against Trump. If (the Democrats) get control of both houses during the Trump administration, it would be big, that’s why we’re so heavily invested in the Senate.”

Respect all women, unless that woman is Martha McSally. Or any other Republican.

This is your Democrat, Arizona. If you elect this embarrassment, you have only yourself to blame.
