Unhinged Protester Attacking Bus so Enraged He Appears Close to Aneurysm

Love, tolerance and constructive debate just aren’t what they used to be, particularly when it comes to liberal protests during the Trump administration.

However, even by the lowered standards of today’s demonstrators, one unhinged anti-Trump activist who attempted to stop a bus filled with detained illegal immigrants seems to have broken new ground.

The protest was happening this weekend in McAllen, Texas, the border town that has been the epicenter of the immigration debate, in part due to a Border Patrol station in the city.

According to CNN, protesters briefly blocked a bus leaving a migrant detention center on Sunday. Some of the individuals yelled phrases like, “Set the children free” and “Shame on you” at the agents.

Agents eventually surrounded the bus and escorted it away, safe from the protesters.

So, what kind of individuals were trying to block the bus? Well, we hope all of them aren’t like this man, or else our country has a lot of liberals who look like they’re on the verge of an aneurysm.

The interview with the man began quite normally.

“This is to make a point that they need to leave children alone,” he said. “This is not the America that we fought for and died for.”

Do you think that the left is becoming unhinged under the Trump administration?

Things took a turn after that.

“These people have these children in a bus like criminals!” the man screamed, spittle practically coming from the screen. “They haven’t committed any crime!”

Well, their parents have and they made the mistake of bringing children along with them, but logic (and Xanax) do not appear to be on this man’s agenda.

Asked if he had a message for the president, the protester said something short, simple, and semi-coherent.

“We’re coming for him in 2020 and we’re coming for his Congress in 2018!” the man yelled.

There are professional wrestlers I can think of that would tell this guy he probably needs to tone his act down a shade.

While I understand that the immigration issue can get a lot of people riled up on either side, this is so far beyond the normal range of human behavior it’s eye-opening. And yet, this is what we’re seeing more of on the left.

His reference to the November midterms is particularly relevant, since Democrat members of Congress don’t seem to be too interested in civil discourse either. In fact, this interview came on the same weekend that Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters, according to the U.K. Independent, encouraged Americans to be openly hostile to Trump cabinet members, confronting them whenever they step out in public.

At times like these, it would probably do well to remember one famous thought: These violent delights have have violent ends.
