Unhinged CNN Personality's Tweet Asks If the Trump Admin Is Trafficking Children
One of CNN’s top personalities is under fire after she tweeted a conspiracy theory article that suggested President Donald Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions were involved in child trafficking.
The tweet was posted by April Ryan, a White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks and a frequent CNN panelist.
Ryan is usually known for her contentious back and forth with White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
However, she’s now getting some flak for posting a link to a story on African-American-centric website The Root that half-jokingly accuses Trump and Sessions of being involved in the trafficking of children.

I’m not going to actually adumbrate the idiocy laid out by The Root writer Jason Johnson, except for this wonderful little excerpt: “However, why be hamstrung by the facts, as bad as they are? Trump has shown America that you can get away with whatever salacious, ridiculous and unfounded conspiracy you want as long as you say it loudly enough and find enough other people to repeat it.
“Which story sounds better: Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions continue their white nationalist policies by destroying refugee and undocumented immigrant families, or Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions let missing children fall prey to sex traffickers?” Johnson continued.
“If you can’t figure out which is the better conspiracy, imagine any of this happening at this level — the missing children, the separation of families and lack of concern for finding them — under the Obama administration. Which story do you think Trump would actually tweet? He’s never been one to let facts get in the way of a good conspiracy.”
In other words, the whole thing is basically some sub-Hunter S. Thompson parody because Trump and Sessions are “white nationalists,” a term which I’ve found now applies to any white person whose opinions on America do not match the author’s.
That’s bad enough for a White House correspondent to be retweeting even without the intimations that the Trump administration was involved human trafficking, but you got both in the same package with Ryan — someone who should clearly know better.
Stephanie Grisham, director of communications for Melania Trump, called Ryan out for her antics.

After Fox News picked it up, Ryan lashed out at Fox or not realizing it was parody (conveniently leaving out the whole part about calling Trump and Sessions “white nationalists“).

Clearly the greatest White House correspondent since late-period Helen Thomas.
I can’t wait for the retweet of the article where Trump is in control of a thought ray provided by the Russians which controls how Americans vote, only for her to say it was clearly all for a larf. And she’ll obviously still continue to appear on CNN just about as often as Michael Avenatti all the same.
