Terrorist Leader Does Israel's Job by Shooting Himself
The nation of Israel and the terrorist group Hamas have been archenemies for decades. Now, a senior official of Hamas has done Israel a huge favor.
Namely, the senior Hamas official shot himself in the head while he was trying to clean his weapon.
Imad al-Alami “checked his own weapons in his own house and accidentally shot himself,” said spokesperson for the group, Fauzi Barhoum.
As a result, al-Alami is in critical condition and is being treated at an intensive care unit in Gaza’s Shifa Hospital.
Of course, not too many tears were shed in Israel over the incident.
The Times of Israel reported that al-Alami “was one of the founders of Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, and served as the terror group’s main representative in Tehran for many years before moving to Damascus in 2008.”
In other words, al-Alami has been a “key link” between terrorist group Hamas and Iranian backers in Tehran.
In 1991, the terrorist leader was arrested and deported by Israel security forces for orchestrating terror activities for Hamas.
This isn’t the first time al-Alami has suffered serious injuries. The Times of Israel reports that al-Alami “suffered serious leg injuries during the Israel-Gaza war in the summer of 2014, in circumstances that are not totally clear.”
Additionally, al-Alami “was hurt when an elevator collapsed inside a tunnel in which senior Hamas members were hiding.”
Another rumor said he was “injured by gunfire during a battle between Hamas activists. He was treated in Turkey.”
The Times of Israel also reports that while many Islamists want to stay in the news, al-Alami has made a point to stay out of it. “He does not take part in press conferences nor is he active on any social media platform,” The Times explained.
The whole story is pretty ironic.
Al-Alami has been the source of an enormous amount of terrorism in Israel, and now he’s in critical condition for not properly learning one of the fundamental lessons of gun safety: always check and double check your weapon to make sure it’s unloaded before cleaning it.
It all goes to show that you reap what you sow. If you want to live by the sword, you’ll die by the sword, (or shot by a gun in this instance.) If you want to cause chaos in Israel through terrorism, don’t be surprised when no one sheds a tear the moment you find yourself in a hospital in critical condition.
