Stormy's Finally Learned What a Snake Avenatti Really Is, and She's Not Happy

Share

Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing Stormy Daniels in her legal battles against President Donald Trump, is now under fire from his own client for his behavior in her legal battle with the president.

Avenatti, who has made noises about running for president in 2020, loves making a spectacle of himself for the media.

The “creepy porn lawyer” has taken every opportunity to gain attention from his client’s fight with Trump. Unfortunately for him, Daniels is beginning to catch on to his charade.

Daniels told The Daily Beast in a statement published Wednesday that Avenatti launched a crowdfunding campaign without her permission after repeatedly ignoring her requests to see accounting information related to her case. She even said that Avenatti filed what turned out to be a disastrous defamation suit against Trump on her behalf against her wishes.

“For months I’ve asked Michael Avenatti to give me accounting information about the fund my supporters so generously donated to for my safety and legal defense. He has repeatedly ignored those requests,” Daniels said in the statement.

“Instead of answering me, without my permission or even my knowledge, Michael launched another crowdfunding campaign to raise money on my behalf,” she added.

She noted that she was “grateful” to Avenatti for “aggressively representing me in my fight to regain my voice.”

“But in other ways Michael has not treated me with the respect and deference an attorney should show to a client,” Daniels said. “He has spoken on my behalf without my approval. He filed a defamation case against Donald Trump against my wishes.”

It was obvious to everybody that Avenatti was using Daniels to seek attention, but if what she says is true — that he filed a defamation case against the president of the United States against her wishes — it takes things to another level.

Considering that the defamation suit was thrown out and Daniels is responsible for all legal fees, it makes what was just a questionable legal decision a good deal worse.

It’s unethical to pursue a case against a client’s wishes, and may even be grounds for disbarment.

Even if Avenatti manages to escape disbarment, he might still lose his golden goose. Daniels seems to be considering getting a new lawyer.

“I haven’t decided yet what to do about legal representation moving forward,” Daniels said in the statement.

In a statement published by The Daily Caller, Avenatti said he had communicated everything with Daniels about her legal cases and the funds raised for them.

Do you think Daniels will drop Avenatti as her lawyer?

“I have always been an open book with Stormy as to all aspects of her cases and she knows thatm” the statement said.

“You need only look back at her numerous prior interviews where she states we talk and communicate multiple times every day about her cases.”

Things aren’t looking good for the creepy porn lawyer. He might need to find a new porn star to leech off of, and if he gets disbarred, he’ll have to find a new career.
