Rush: Hillary Just Admitted I've Been Right All Along

Share

Rush Limbaugh has built an impressive career by being right.

Heck, he even titled one of his early books “See, I Told You So” — and followed it up by keeping his finger on the pulse of American politics for the next 25 years.

It’s no secret that Limbaugh, to whom every conservative pundit today owes a debt, loves a good brag. That’s exactly what he did on his famous radio program last week, and made a very keen observation in the process.

During his Oct. 10 show, the talk show icon pointed to an interview that Hillary Clinton just gave with liberal CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour.

In answer to a question about civility in politics, Clinton gave the Democratic game away.

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” Clinton told Amanpour. “That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”

And Rush pounced.

“(Hillary) pretty much admitted everything I have been trying to warn people of about the American left and the Democrat Party!” Limbaugh began.

“She went out and in her best Maxine Waters impersonation,” the radio host continued. “She was encouraging people to be uncivil, and she was saying that it was justified being uncivil, given the opposition, the Republicans.”

Do you agree with Rush Limbaugh about Hillary Clinton?

The premise that Democrats have only been paying lip-service to “civility” and are actually bullies addicted to power is something that Limbaugh has been hammering for some time — and he used the Clinton interview to shine a light on the latest example.

“(I)f they win the House, then they can go back to being civil. If they win the Senate, then they can return to civility,” Limbaugh summarized.

“I mean, they’re making the case, they’re proving the point .… In all of this crazy, deranged, unhinged behavior of left-wing activists, I haven’t heard one elected Democrat denounce it,” he pointed out. “I haven’t heard one elected Democrat attempt to distance himself or herself or the party from it.”

Limbaugh was referencing incidents like protesters literally screaming and clawing at the Supreme Court doors, showing mob behavior, and harassing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife as they tried to eat at a restaurant.

The talk radio legend was just getting warmed up. He launched into his main argument: That the Democratic platform has never been about civil disagreement or differences of opinion, but has always been a mob-like clamor for power.

“They are all encouraging it. My point is: This is who they all are — and with Hillary Clinton now advocating this incivility,” he declared.

“What did I tell you yesterday? We’re not in a battle of ideas anymore. We’re not in an argument over ideas,” he insisted. “They don’t … They’re not even looking at any of this as about ideas.”

In Limbaugh’s view, the difference between the left and the right is much wider than many Americans think. One side believes in the core principles that founded the country, but liberals increasingly do not. They’ve become radicals.

“They see America today as flawed and illegitimate and, therefore, in need of a new set of defining values that will serve to unify the people who want to be part of America,” he explained.

“Not anything to do with our founding. Not the Constitution. Not the Declaration. That’s out the window ’cause all that’s tainted,” he said, summarizing the left’s position. “All of that was written by a bunch of privileged white guys who were setting up a system for themselves and their families and their descendants.”

Once again, Rush Limbaugh is right. All one needs to do is listen to the left in their own words.

We’ve seen New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo snarl that “America was never that great.” Former first lady Michelle Obama admitted she had never been proud to be an American until she and her husband were on the path to the White House — and had the power that comes with it within their grasp.

Former President Barack Obama revealed that he wanted to “fundamentally transform” the United States of America. California Rep. Maxine Waters called for political opponents to be harassed, while leftist groups like “antifa” literally shut down sections of cities and assault people.

The evidence is in plain sight. It’s time to take these people at their word, and not ignore or downplay them any longer.
