Mugger Turns into Crying Mess After Victim Reveals She's a Jiu-Jitsu Warrior

I will readily admit that laughing at the misfortunes of others is a character flaw I deal with on a daily basis.

But when stupid people play stupid games and get a nice heaping helping of justice, frankly, I don’t care.

And this particular buffoon in Brazil absolutely deserves to be laughed at.

In a cell phone video that has gone viral, 18-year-old Magdeel de Silva has become an internet laughingstock after an attempted robbery went horribly awry — for him, anyway.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, which cited the Brazilian news outlet D24am, de Silva and an accomplice tried to rob Sabrina Leites, 22, of her cell phone. D24am reported the incident took place on Nov. 13 in Manaus in northwestern Brazil.

De Silva and his accomplice rolled up on Leites while she was waiting outside her family home. Leities was about to open a gate to her sister’s room when de Silva and another man approached her on a motorcycle and demanded Leites’ cell phone, the Daily Mail reported.

Setting aside the absolute cowardice and lack of character it would take for two men to accost a young woman, de Silva probably thought this would be an easy score.

Oh, how deliciously wrong de Silva was.

Do you like to see crminals get what they deserve?

Once Leites realized the two would-be thieves were unarmed, she leaped into action to defend herself.

When it became abundantly clear that Leites was not the easy mark de Silva and his accomplice thought she would be, the unnamed accomplice was able to escape on the motocycle.

De Silva, being left to flee on foot, was run over by Leites’ neighbor in a car. Leites’ neighbor had reportedly saw the assault unfold.

But de Silva’s ordeal didn’t just end with being hit by a good Samaritan’s car. His humiliation was only just beginning.

You see, while Leites is currently working towards becoming a flight attendant, she also has another hobby. She has spent four years training in the Brazilian martial art jiu jitsu, according to the Daily Mail.

Leites, despite only being a white belt — or beginner’s rank, was more than well-trained enough to take down one of the would-be thieves.

After catching up to the freshly run over de Silva, Leites locked him in an arm bar. It’s here where the humor hits a high point.

De Silva, who just mere moments ago tried to pass himself off as a menacing thief, became a blubbering, whimpering mess while locked in the basic Jiu Jitsu hold.

“No more, no more,” he could be heard crying in the video.

Ah, sweet justice. Again, maybe it’s wrong for me to laugh at this crying mess of a human being. But I don’t care.

Punks like de Silva deserve all the scorn and ridicule coming their way.
