Meet the Shortlist SCOTUS Nominee 'Planned Parenthood Hates the Most'

Share

Liberals have been in full panic mode since Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced Wednesday he is retiring.

Their greatest fear is that Kennedy’s replacement will be part of a conservative majority who will overturn the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion. In that 1973 case, a liberal activist court concocted a “right to privacy” from the 14th Amendment and declared that it entitled women to end the lives of babies in their wombs.

More than 60 million unborn children have been killed since then.

President Donald Trump has narrowed his list of possible SCOTUS appointees and met with four of them Monday. He said he plans to announce his choice next week.

One of them in particular is striking terror in the hearts of the pro-abortion crowd: Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

Life News calls her “the possible Supreme Court nominee Planned Parenthood hates the most,” and the abortion provider signaled its fierce opposition to her Monday:

The flip side, of course, is that pro-lifers would be very happy if Trump selected Barrett, who currently sits on the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

She is a devout Catholic. She is very sharp, earning her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School before becoming a professor there.

Would you like to see President Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court?

Barrett was a clerk for the most revered justice among conservatives, Antonin Scalia.

She is the mother of seven children, one of whom is adopted. Harsh attacks on her in a confirmation hearing probably won’t play as well as they did against, say, Robert Bork.

At just 46, Barrett likely would be a force on the court for decades.

You can see why prominent liberals already are gearing up to try to stop her.

They describe her as a “religious extremist” who will bring their “Handmaid’s Tale” nightmares to life.

During Barrett’s confirmation hearing for the Circuit Court judgeship last September, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) was among those who indicated the nominee’s religious beliefs were problematic.

“The dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s of concern when you come to big issues that large numbers of people have fought for years in this country,” Feinstein told Barrett.

It’s obvious who liberals and the abortion industry don’t want President Trump to nominate. That’s a clear indication she would be an excellent choice.
