Matt Walsh Shreds 'Absurd' Abortion Myth that Pro-Life Movement Is Full of Sexist Men

Share

Political commentator and author Matt Walsh dismantled the absurd argument that the pro-life movement is run by sexist men who want to control women.

You might have heard far-left politicians and abortion activists tell men to “shut up” when it comes to abortion.

These pro-abortion women often claim “it’s my body, it’s my choice” when it comes to murdering the unborn, and that men who oppose their “choice” to murder their unborn babies are sexist.

However, as Walsh explained, pro-life men aren’t “sexist” at all. In fact, it’s more likely that pro-abortion men could have sexist motivations.

“The most absurd myth is that the pro-life movement is run by sexist men. The exact opposite is true,” Walsh tweeted Wednesday.

“Selfish, sexist, deadbeat, loser men absolutely LOVE abortion because it enables them to use women for sexual pleasure without having to worry about the consequences.”

The issue of abortion often comes down to the irresponsibility of the mother and father, who weren’t careful or chaste enough to avoid a pregnancy.

Is it sexist to defend the unborn?

Obviously, sexist men love abortion because it enables them to freely use women without having to face the consequences for their degenerate irresponsibility.

Unlike the sexist men who love abortion, those who oppose abortion have nothing to gain.

“Men gain nothing from opposing abortion. Those of us who oppose it do so simply because we believe it’s wrong to kill the innocent,” Walsh added.

“We do not stand to benefit on a practical level at all. Neither do pro-life women. This is a position we take purely for ethical reasons.”

Pro-life men don’t have any “sexist” motivations — they are standing up for the lives of unborn boys and girls.

Walsh is a veteran of the culture wars, of course.

But the well-known conservative and author of the 2017 book “The Unholy Trinity: Blocking the Left’s Assault on Life, Marriage, and Gender” doesn’t spare his own side of its share of responsibility either.

Check out this video from Walsh speaking at Colorado Christian University’s Western Conservative Summit in June.

Posted to YouTube in July, it sums up the situation with brutal honesty.

Meanwhile, pro-abortion men and women are becoming more and more barbaric and rabid with each passing day — as the New York legislature and the state’s Democratic governor made clear with the Empire State’s sweeping new abortion law this year.

Abortion advocates used to peddle the phrase “safe, legal, and rare” to defend abortion, but that adage is long-gone after Democrats began to embrace an extreme stance on abortion.

Medically unnecessary, late-term abortion is a common policy proposal from Democrat politicians, and some abortion activists are even considering post-birth abortion.

It’s not sexist to recognize that the barbaric practice of abortion has gone too far.

Leave it to Matt Walsh to make that point.
