Lawless FBI's Dir. Refuses To Deny That Trump's Phone Calls Are Being Listened To

The deep state’s agenda against President Donald Trump has become even clearer after FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to give an answer when asked if the FBI has spied on the president.

During a Senate hearing on Wednesday, Wray answered several questions about the FBI investigation into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

However, the more important story, in terms of the deep state’s surveillance on American citizens, hasn’t been getting as much coverage.

Republican Sen. Rand Paul asked the FBI director a series of questions about the agency’s surveillance.

In particular, Paul expressed concern about the FBI using FISA to avoid the Constitution and spy on American citizens.

“The reason this is a debate is that when we collect information on people overseas, we don’t use the Constitution,” Paul explained.

He then expressed concern that conversations Americans have with foreign entities may be scooped up by the FBI under FISA.

The obvious example is Trump, who regularly communicates with foreign leaders.

“Do you think that it’s possible that the president’s conversations with international leaders are in the FISA database?” Paul asked.

Do you believe the FBI is spying on the president?

Ray was silent for a moment before giving a non-answer, “I’m not sure there is anything I can speak to in this setting.”

Paul then asked Wray if the FBI could spy on American journalists who are speaking with journalists overseas.

“Do you think that there is a possibility that journalist conversations are in the FISA database?” Paul asked.

“I can’t speak to specific …” Wray stammered, before Paul gave the real answer.

“The answer is ‘yes,'” Paul said bluntly.

The deep state’s surveillance on the president is worrisome.

“Is NSA or FBI listening in on our President? We know bad actors exist within intel community. REFORM NEEDED NOW,” Paul tweeted on Wednesday.

Paul is right. The FBI fired one of its agents, Peter Strzok, in August after it was revealed that he was sending ominous anti-Trump messages in 2016.

We don’t know how many more anti-Trump fanatics are in the FBI, but they certainly shouldn’t be given free rein to spy on the president.

They shouldn’t be able to spy on average Americans either, and the FBI wouldn’t have a problem with it if they are willing to spy on the president.

Wray’s silence on the FBI’s potentially unconstitutional surveillance is a shocking move in the ongoing struggle over the deep state’s legal boundaries.
