Hijack Their A**es: James Woods Torches ABC Execs, Calls for Roseanne To Do Her Thing
James Woods has been back on Twitter for just about one week now and he’s back in great form. And I for one am glad to see it.
We need his conservative voice on this particular social media platform, and there is just something about his perspective that cuts to the heart of the matter at hand.
For instance, a Woods tweet on Saturday addressed the wisdom, or lack thereof, of ABC execs giving the ax to a hit television show because the star expressed personal opinions in conflict with their own.
“The Connors” debuts on Tuesday, without Roseanne Barr, and there is much speculation as to whether the show will take off without her.
They’ve no doubt tested with focus groups. This was a billion dollar catastrophe for them. I hope she hijacks their asses for a fortune when they slip on the knee pads and start begging for her to come back. https://t.co/3PHeC5Zx4l

“I hope she hijacks their a–es for a fortune the they slip on the knee pads and start begging for her to come back,” Woods wrote.
Woods also brought up an intriguing possibility — another network picking up “Roseanne” Barr as its title character.
Great idea. “Last Man Standing” was a great Friday night ratings boost for Fox as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
The Tim Allen show was an unforced error by ABC that Fox is capitalizing on. Maybe a new “Roseanne” would be as well.
Woods poses the question on Twitter just to put a fine point on the ABC blunder.
Serious question: does ABC own Roseanne’s name? I always heard that titles can’t be copyrighted. I’m probably wrong, but what if another network decided to do a different Roseanne Barr sitcom? What degree of material change is required? https://t.co/OqImQOizyG

And a little more salt in the wound from Woods just to spice it up a bit.
Well, in general, firing the title character of any hit show (centered solely around that character) is hardly the apex of business acumen. This should be blatantly obvious to the most casual practitioner of programming. #Roseanne https://t.co/YZ5401BRGv

And the week’s Kanye controversy wouldn’t be complete without some commentary from Woods.
He tweeted:

So interesting that black unemployment in America is at historic lows, #KanyeWest is actually challenging a century of failed Democratic policies for black Americans, and mainstream media shills are losing their already addled minds. Beautiful to behold. #RedWave2018

The left has been called out all week by conservatives, but Woods put the finishing touches on the Kanye debate with this tweet about the hypocrisy of CNN host Don Lemon’s public display of affection in his mixed race relationship combined with Lemon’s criticism of Kanye West.
#DonLemon attacked #KanyeWest for “sitting with white people,” degraded his “mental health issues,” called his presence in the Oval Office a “minstrel show,” and mocked Mr. West’s late mother. This is @CNN. pic.twitter.com/h0SJswhgWk

In the liberal world, Lemon is free to associate with white people however he chooses. But if Kanye West visits the White House, he’s embarrassing blacks everywhere.
And did Lemon really call Kanye’s visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. a “minstrel show” and accuse the president of using him? Yes he did.
Real Clear Politics reported Lemon said: “I have no animosity for Kanye West. I’m just going to be honest and I may get in a lot of trouble for it. I actually feel bad for him. What I saw was a minstrel show today. Him in front of all these white people embarrassing himself and embarrassing Americans, but mostly African-Americans because every one of them is sitting either at home or with their phones, watching this, cringing.”
Twitchy added this bright spot tweeted by Woods about the Kanye controversy.
“The lefty media freakout over Kanye West’s meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office yesterday has been well documented, but James Woods sees a positive sign in all that:”

While we love having Woods back on social media, Western Journal reported Wednesday that Woods thinks he’s being shadow banned.
“After a brief suspension on Twitter, actor James Woods is back at it, but is now claiming he is being censored, or shadow banned, by the social media giant.”
“On Wednesday, the conservative actor tweeted that he was hearing ‘so many reports’ of Twitter users not seeing his tweets in their timelines.”
Here’s hoping the liberal powers at social media and television companies wise up and stop this senseless attack on conservatives. James Woods brings a lot of followers to the platform. His humor and common sense, while they may not line up with liberal ideologies, should be an asset to their platforms.
I would bet more than 1.7 million followers think so.
