James Woods Teaches Kyle Kashuv How To Finally Deal With Gun Grabbing David Hogg

Share

Ever since the tragic mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, in February, a number of students from that school assumed the mantle of national spokespeople for the anti-gun movement on the left and have since been promoting the imposition of strict gun control measures.

Chief among those vociferously anti-gun students is David Hogg, who despite being a rather impassioned young activist is nevertheless not exactly the brightest of activists, which he has proven countless times in his plethora of appearances on supportive liberal media networks and via his voluminous social media commentary.

While Hogg and his equally ill-informed cohorts have been showered with attention from the anti-gun left and placed upon a pedestal, another student from that school with a decidedly different outlook on the Second Amendment and gun control has risen in prominence among the pro-gun right, Kyle Kashuv, and to say the two have butted heads on occasion would be an understatement.

Kashuv recently attempted to educate Hogg on a rather fundamental matter wholly unrelated to firearms, but it proved to be a waste of time and the tweets Kashuv was responding to appear to have since been deleted. Luckily, Kashuv managed to get a screenshot prior to the disappearance of those tweets.

Hogg had agreed with a point made by his younger sister Lauren Hogg at a #RoadToChange anti-gun event, in which the young girl had stated, “You don’t stop a wildfire with more fires, the same way you don’t stop gun violence with more guns.”

Kashuv quite logically replied, “That’s actually exactly how you stop wildfires,” and included the emoji symbol of a man slapping his forehead at the abject stupidity he’d just witnessed. Plenty of folks in the comments backed Kashuv up by explaining how firefighters often set small backfires and other controlled burns in order to clear zones around critical structures and starve a larger wildfire of the fuel it needs to continue burning.

However, much like an older mentor tutoring a young protege, famed conservative Hollywood actor and absolutely savage mocker of liberals online, James Woods, stepped in to offer Kashuv a bit of advice on future dealings with his anti-gun rival Hogg.

Woods tweeted, “Kyle, it’s like trying to teach a marmot to do calculus. Ignore him. He’s way past his 15 minutes.”

Do you agree it is a waste of effort to try and educate staunchly anti-gun people about the facts?

Indeed he is, and yet, he persists, thanks to the liberal media and the anti-gun crowd. As for teaching small mammals how to solve complex mathematical equations, well … that seems like a fairly difficult thing to do that would pretty much be a waste of time even if it were possible, so there is that.

Incredibly, the ludicrous assertion about not fighting fires with fire from the younger Hogg was not the first time she had uttered such an ill-informed statement, as was noted in May by the tweet-trackers at Twitchy.

The younger Hogg had tweeted in late April, “I’m tired of people saying, ‘The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.’ Fighting fire with fire never got anything done. It just burned everything down. It is the same reason why we must never fight hate with hate. Only love can drive out hate.”

That tweet had similarly drawn several educational replies from people who actually understand that fires are indeed fought with other fires, rendering her attempted analogy quite moot.

She also received more than a few remarks about her sweet but utterly naive nature and was encouraged to “stay in school,” hopefully where she will learn about how actual wildfires are combated on a regular basis with more fire.

But again, as with her older brother David, such efforts to educate her likely place us back in the realm of teaching math to large ground squirrels, as the great James Woods might say.
