Watch: Guard Busts Anti-Kavanaugh Star Alyssa Milano in Middle of Hearing
The Senate Judiciary Committee finally held a hearing on Thursday to allow for the sworn testimony of Christine Blasey Ford, a liberal professor from California who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her when both individuals were high school students in Maryland.
Fox News reported that Democrat California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the ranking minority member on the committee, invited liberal actress-turned-activist Alyssa Milano to the hearing as an honored guest.
Milano has been an incredibly outspoken supporter of Ford and her allegations against Kavanaugh, likely stemming both from her support for the #MeToo movement as well as her vehement opposition of Kavanaugh from the day he was first nominated.
At one point during Kavanaugh’s portion of the hearing, one of the guards in the committee’s room was forced to approach Milano — who was seated a few rows behind Kavanaugh and appeared on television screens over his shoulder — and presumably issue her a warning for violating committee rules that had been established for this special hearing.

CNN reporter Kate Bennett tweeted, “Finally. @Alyssa_Milano has been breaking room rules for this hearing by videotaping and photographing on and off all day. A guard just went over and told her to stop.”
Milano could clearly be seen in the video holding her cellphone aloft, either to video or photograph the proceedings at that moment while Democrat Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy and Kavanaugh were engaged in a tense exchange.
Furthermore, there is no disputing Bennett’s assertion that Milano had been breaking the rules “all day,” as the activist actress had been essentially live-tweeting the event with no less than nine separate pictures or videos from inside the hearing all throughout the day, in addition to a few tweets of just text.

As stated, Milano had also posted several other pictures and even video of the hearing, a clear violation of the rules put in place by the committee as Milano is not a credentialed member of the media.
As per the committee’s posted instructions for the media, which presumably would apply to guests to the hearing as well, only voice recorders and laptops were permitted in the room. The instructions explicitly stated that “ONLY” credentialed still photographers were allowed to use cameras, as well as the admonition, “Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited, except by authorized staff.”
This liberal activist actress, like far too many other liberals with a sense of celebrity — particularly those seated on the Judiciary Committee — believe they are somehow above the law and that the rules put in place for everyone somehow don’t apply to them.
The guard in the hearing room set her straight on the reality of the situation this afternoon, and it is worth noting that — as of the time this post was written — Milano hadn’t posted any more pictures or videos from the hearing, meaning she appeared to have received the message from the guard loud and clear — if only for a time.
