Good Guys With Guns Win Again: Good Samaritans Help Thwart Shoplifters
Responsible gun owners have proven once again that firearms in the right hands are effective in stopping crime. This time, two armed citizens in a town north of Seattle, Washington, were able to stop shoplifters.
Police say the two thieves stole power tools last Saturday from Coastal Farm and Ranch store in Marysville, according to Seattle’s local KOMO-TV.
One customer confronted the shoplifters in the parking lot, but the criminals attempted to run him over before driving away.
If America was a liberal “utopia,” the shoplifters might’ve gotten away with their crimes. Unarmed civilians are at the mercy of criminals and police response time.
Fortunately, two responsible gun owners were present. The gun owners fired at the tires of the getaway car, which eventually brought the car to a halt.
The shots scared unsuspecting customers and local shop owners — but thankfully, the shots came from good guys.
“It was weird. It was weird. All I heard was ‘bang, bang, bang’ like that and I saw a gal running to her car,” Davin Tuninga, who was shopping at the nearby Wagner Jewelers, told KOMO.
“We had two customers and went in the back and locked ourselves in,” said Brandy Sundin, a nearby business owner.
After the gunfire, the shoplifters abandoned their car, but police offers were able to hunt them down with police dogs.

This isn’t the first time armed citizens have used guns to stop crime or protect themselves, of course.
For example, one armed father told NRATV was able to save his wife and children from an armed stranger.
“My training and my legally owned handgun stopped that individual from killing my family,” the father said.
In a different situation, just last month, an armed single mother was able to stop a home invader as her kids were getting ready for school.
Armed citizens are also highly effective in extremely dire situations.
FBI data shows that armed citizens reduce the loss of life in active shooter situations 94 percent of the time.
The establishment media is obsessed with covering stories about bad guys with guns, but neglect the countless heroes who take down criminals with guns.
Liberals might want to ignore it, but responsible gun owners make America safer.
