Financial Expert, 'Shark Tank' Star Shares Why Trump Has '100% Chance' of 2020 Win

Share

As a big fan of the television show “Shark Tank,” I can personally attest that there are few things better on cable than Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary telling it like it is.

Often, O’Leary is the one telling the other “sharks” to stop sugarcoating things when a potential business investment is a bad one.

And O’Leary is the first one to call out utter nonsense when he sees it.

This memorable “Shark Tank” segment is a good example. (Warning: This video contains some strong language — censored, but still very obvious.)

But by that same token, O’Leary will be the first to offer praise when it’s deserved. He’s just a no-nonsense type of guy like that.

Case in point, O’Leary, who has previously lauded President Donald Trump for his positive impact on the economy, was at it again.

This time, he is already calling the 2020 election in favor of Trump.

Appearing at the CNBC Disruptor 50 Roadshow on Wednesday, O’Leary praised Trump’s slashing of business regulations during his the first half of his presidential term.

“Like him or hate him — don’t care. But the policy that’s come out of there in the last two years has ripped all (red tape and business regulations) out,” O’Leary said.

“You don’t see it; we never talk about that stuff. But it’s small things like that that all of a sudden my restaurant business that I invested in — a company called Wine and Design … — now we can open up in all these strip malls and sell franchises like crazy because the regulatory environment has changed.”

O’Leary nailed it when he said “we never talk about that stuff.” The leftist media is too enamored of attacking anything and everything Trump does that could even remotely be described as negative, instead of focusing on the tangibly positive.

Even Fox News, one of the few outlets Trump doesn’t lump in as “fake news,” often finds itself fighting back against the far-left narrative just as much as it covers Trump’s accomplishments.

Furthermore, O’Leary also tore into coastal elitism obfuscating the tangible effect Trump has had on the economy in Middle America. O’Leary cited that coastal elitism as why Trump will “100 percent” be re-elected in 2020.

If you think this administration is getting voted out in the next election, you are 100 percent wrong,” O’Leary said.

“Where I go to Amarillo, Texas; Champaign; Urbana; Fargo, his name is painted on the barn, and I see it for miles around. And look, I’m not trying to advocate here for it. I’m just telling you, if you think, sitting in Boston or Philly or New York or LA, that’s America, that’s not America. I go to America, and they love what’s happening.

O’Leary also took a not-so-veiled shot at the Obama administration’s policies, citing how terrible the “last 10 years” have been for small businesses.

Do you think Kevin O'Leary is reading the national mood correctly?

“Over the last 10 years the America that I grew up in, and I started my company in, was lost. It was so overregulated and so governed and so punitive for business. And the policy — not the administration and not the past president — the policy that that administration generated, in my view, was un-American,” he said.

If you’ve never watched “Shark Tank,” I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Sure, you occasionally have to put up with some nonsense from people like Mark Cuban, but “Mr. Wonderful” more than makes up for it with his biting honesty.

And just like on the show, when it comes to politics, Kevin O’Leary is calling it like it is. The Trump administration has been great for small business owners.

Whether your love Trump or hate him, the fact that small business are beginning to boom is inarguable.
