Diamond and Silk Give Ultimate Praise After Special WH Visit: 'Trump Is Making History'
They’re two of President Donald Trump’s highest-profile supporters on social media. On Saturday, they got to visit the Oval Office — and they came away still impressed with the guy they’ve been supporting for the better part of four years now.
In a tweet after the event, Diamond and Silk — government names Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, respectively — said Trump is “making history.”
“Enjoyed chatting with our great President, @realDonaldTrump,” the two tweeted from their official account.
“We love & support the @POTUS because he loves & supports all Americans. He’s done more for black people than any other President in our lifetime,” they continued.

On the social media platform, Trump responded in kind.

The duo, for those of you who need a quick refresher, rose to fame as two of Trump’s biggest social media defenders even early in the process. The U.K. Daily Mail dates the beginning of their support back to 2015.
By the end of that year, the two African-American sisters were appearing on stage with Trump at rallies.

The fact that the two sisters have been so vociferous in their defense of Trump — particularly given the fact that they’re African-American — has made for plenty of griping from the media and the Twitterati.

And those are just ones we can show.
And then there’s the media.
In a March 2018 piece, The Daily Beast delighted in reporting the perception that the two don’t seem to be as highly valued at Fox News as other pundits and that one senior Trump official (unnamed as always) had even joked that the president likes them enough that they could be “senior economic advisers to” Trump.
(When you consider the fact that Robert Reich was once Bill Clinton’s treasury secretary, I fail to see how this arrangement could be seen as worse.)
When they’re not getting that kind of ribbing from “journalists,” the women also have social media to deal with. After Facebook limited Diamond and Silk’s reach because they “came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community,” the company was forced to do some pretty profound backtracking.
Through all of that, however, Diamond and Silk, have one very staunch defender in the Oval Office — and, at least judging by this tweet, that seems to be enough for them.
