'Deport This A**hole!': Unearthed 'Squad' Tweets Sink Liberal Narrative

Share

After crying racism and exaggerating the dangers of President Donald Trump’s controversial “go back” tweets, Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan are taking heat for some of their own tweets from the past.

Former Democratic New York state assemblyman Dov Hikind retweeted old tweets from the congresswomen that appear to be calling for the deportation of American citizens who hold differing political views.

Tlaib’s vulgar attack was even aimed at Trump specifically.

“So Rashida can call for deporting then candidate Trump, but there’s total outrage when the sentiment is returned?! How does this ‘standard’ work? #DemDuplicity,” Hikind tweeted.

Tlaib’s original tweet — that said “Deport this a–hole” — was in response to then-candidate Trump’s call to temporarily halt Muslim immigration after the San Bernardino Islamic terrorist shooting in 2015, according to The Daily Wire.

Hikind also retweeted an attack from Omar, this one from 2012, who was apparently responding to a debate opponent by threatening deportation. Lacking context, Omar’s tweet appeared to be in response to a call for her own deportation.

Does the left adhere to double standards?

Nevertheless, Hikind was quick to note Omar’s double standard after her recent publicity stunts to claim that she is a victim of Trump.

“EVIDENCE: @IlhanMN told an opponent ‘why don’t we deport you to where ever you came from’ in 2012!! You can’t make this stuff up! Retweet so her duplicity is exposed for all to see!”

Both Tlaib and Omar have labeled Trump racist after he suggested that the “‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen” leave the United States if they truly think it is a terrible place.

Were Tlaib and Omar’s tweets explicitly considered racist by the media? Was there mass outrage after they told American citizens that they should be deported? Of course not.

To the left, racism has very little to do with race and everything to do with political ideology. If your opinions are acceptable or if you belong to a “protected class” of victims, their rules of discourse do not apply to you.

Without double standards, the radical left has no standards at all.
