Dana Loesch Destroys Joy Behar over Truth About Dianne Feinstein
The liberal media has unquestionably jumped to the defense of Palo Alto University Professor Christine Blasey Ford, who just days prior to a committee confirmation vote on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh upended everything by accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assault in an alleged incident she claimed occurred more than 35 years ago.
Chief among those defenders are the liberal co-hosts of ABC’s “The View,” most notably Joy Behar, who went off on a rant on Wednesday about Ford’s allegations and the way they are being handled by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
She asserted that the “old, white men” of the committee were failing to protect women by not automatically believing Ford’s claims, and were instead protecting “a man who is probably guilty,” and, she said, a “coward.”
Behar’s choice words were a topic of discussion on Thursday between the “Fox & Friends” co-hosts and conservative commentator Dana Loesch, who had more than a few choice words of her own for Behar — and Democrats in general.
“I’m not quite sure how to take Joy Behar,” Loesch began. “It wasn’t old, white men that for six weeks sat on the accusation from this particular individual … It wasn’t old, white men that kept it quiet and did nothing to verify the claims or investigate or to even reach out and comfort the accuser.
“In fact, it was those ‘old, white men’ that Joy Behar is assailing on ‘The View’ who moved swiftly within a day, within the period of 24 hours, to immediately reach out, offer to privately come to this individual, to hear her claims, to hear her accusations. It was those, quote unquote, ‘old, white men,’ that moved to resolve this issue and seek a pathway to justice, if justice is to be had,” she continued.
“It wasn’t the Dianne Feinsteins, who I think did a disservice to this particular individual, and separating the claims from the way it was handled, I think that the way it was handled is absolutely atrocious and I think that if Democrats were doing everything they could to cast aspersions onto (Ford) and onto these claims, and to undermine them by handling them a certain way, this is the way they chose,” Loesch said.
Loesch then brought up claims by Karen Monohan, a woman who accused U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, who is running for Minnesota attorney general, of assaulting her during a domestic dispute in 2016.
“Further … we could talk about the ‘old, white men’ of the Democrat Party that are ignoring the claims of Ms. Monahan, who is the accuser of Keith Ellison,” she continued.
“For a party that claims to protect women, here’s a woman that came forward with medical records and really reputable claims and a lot of corroboration to back it up, and yet I’ve heard nothing about protecting this particular women from this party where it concerns the accuser of Keith Ellison.”
After co-host Brian Kilmeade pointed out that nobody really knows exactly what happened in the alleged incident 36 years ago, Loesch replied, “There’s not really any evidence to support these accusations.”
Loesch proceeded to note that, even as Democrats demanded an FBI investigation into the claims, the alleged crime was not even in the FBI’s jurisdiction and Democrats would have been better served by filing a police report with local authorities in Maryland.
“But to demand that the FBI act outside of its jurisdiction, and then to use that as a way to claim that nothing is being done, I go back to why Feinstein and Democrats sat on this … and by the way, Feinstein hasn’t even shared this letter, the full letter, with the Senate Judiciary majority in the committee, so I think that is an important point to raise as well,” said Loesch.
Co-host Ainsley Earhardt noted that whatever personal information may have been redacted in the letter, such as the accuser’s name, had already been made public, and suggested that there was other information in the letter that Democrats would prefer Republican committee members not be privy to.
Loesch agreed with that assessment and concluded by calling out Democrats for insinuating that Republicans were attempting a “rush job” to get past these accusations and proceed with a confirmation vote.
“It’s not a rush job to sit on it for six weeks, and to not investigate, to not reach out and then suddenly demand that everybody move, because, this isn’t a rush job because you don’t sit on something for six weeks while calling it a rush job,” she said.
Loesch was both on fire and on point in calling out the Democrats for how they’ve handled the allegations posed by Ford against Kavanaugh. She was also correct in noting that it wasn’t the “old, white men” of the Republican Party who’d sat quietly for weeks on Ford’s claim.
The argument posed by Behar, as well as the rest of her co-horts on the left, which blames Republicans for the mismanagement of Ford’s allegations, was unable to survive the dismantling it received at the hands of Loesch.
And anyone with a bit of intellectual honesty who hears what Loesch had to say will know it.
