Dan Crenshaw Blasts Ocasio-Cortez, Reveals What Is Really Scandalous After Faux Outrage over Dancing

Share

Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw has been a much-needed breath of fresh air in today’s oftentimes venomous political discourse.

When SNL viciously mocked him, he took the high road. When the leftist media freaked out over various things, he calmly and politely corrected them.

But push the man with idiotic leftist nonsense, and he will fire back in an incredibly efficient and devastating manner. I’d expect nothing less from a former Navy SEAL.

The latest example of Crenshaw’s awesomeness came at the expense of socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the leftist media manufactured a completely faux outrage over a viral video of Ocasio-Cortez dancing in college.

There were literally two relative unknowns who had called out Ocasio-Cortez over the video and the media made it seem like all conservatives across the world were condemning her for it.

Despite the the fact that most conservatives were not condemning Ocasio-Cortez over her dance video, the freshman congresswoman ran with the leftist narrative and issued a response on Twitter.

“I hear the GOP thinks women dancing are scandalous,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter. “Wait till they find out Congresswomen dance too!”

Do you think Dan Crenshaw has a good point?

To be clear, nowhere did any legitimate conservative or Republican slam Ocasio-Cortez for being “scandalous” over dancing.

Obviously, this doesn’t mean that Ocasio-Cortez is above reproach in any way, shape or fashion. Crenshaw made sure to point this out to her on Twitter.

“No one thinks this is scandalous,” Crenshaw fired back. “Dance away (was actually pretty good).”

That’s when Crenshaw pivoted to something 100 percent worth criticizing Ocasio-Cortez over, which was her “Green New Deal.” On CBS’ “60 Minutes,” which is set to air Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez made the utterly insane suggestion of taxing Americans 70 percent to help fund her socialist plan and Crenshaw wasn’t about to let her get away with that.

“What is scandalous is increasing income taxes to 70%,” Crenshaw continued on Twitter. “It’s wholly unethical for anyone to work a majority of the year just to give their money to the government.”

Not quite satisfied with simply calling out Ocasio-Cortez’s “wholly unethical” suggestion, Crenshaw also gave her a parting shot.

“Dancing’s great, but ideas matter more.”

A tad harsh, but so very true.
