Bill Clinton Unintentionally Bashes Hillary, Gives Perfect Explanation To How Trump Won 2016 Election
As we have heard ad nauseum over the past 20 months, failed Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton has offered up 1,001 and counting various excuses for why she was defeated by President Donald Trump, none of which hold herself to account.
Those excuses include Russian interference, fired FBI Director James Comey, rampant misogyny and sexism, independent third-party voters, ignorant women voters, Trump cheating, and perhaps the best excuse of them all … Macedonian content farmers spreading “fake news” on social media.
Meanwhile, a growing majority of Americans have grown tired of the constant excuses and have come to realize that Clinton really has nobody to blame but herself and the actions, or rather inaction, of her own campaign, which bought into the media narrative that they had the election in the bag from the start.
That rather significant oversight and miscalculation of the 2016 electorate was something that former President Bill Clinton may have unintentionally alluded to during a recent interview, according to the Washington Examiner.
In speaking about his awareness in the 1990s of the threat posed by late Al Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden, Clinton remarked that it was unwise to underestimate or lack respect for one’s enemies, a shot that easily could have aimed at his wife in the wake of her shocking loss to Trump.
“One of the things that gets you into bad decision-making is dehumanizing and underestimating your adversaries,” Bill Clinton said during an event Thursday to promote the release of his new book with author James Patterson.
Indeed, there is no doubt whatsoever that Hillary Clinton and her people severely underestimated Trump and the level of support he was able to draw from the American people.
Furthermore, the Hillary campaign did in fact work to “dehumanize” Trump and his supporters on countless occasions, but most especially with Clinton’s ill-advised “deplorables” comment, which was embraced by Trump supporters and subsequently used against Clinton.
The former president continued and recalled his conversation with incoming former President George W. Bush during the transition period following the 2000 election, in which they spoke of the greatest threats posed to America.
“I said, ‘I know you think that Saddam Hussein is the biggest security threat facing this country, but I promise you Osama bin Laden is,'” Clinton said.
“This whole idea of non-state actors who work with governments who don’t like us, or work on their own, all this technology stuff, I said, ‘This guy is so smart, and he comes from the richest family in Saudi Arabia,'” he continued.
“He could live a cushy and hypocritical life, and instead he’s living in a cave somewhere and has to have dialysis. So you know he believes in what he’s doing,” Clinton said. He added, “It’s better to respect your adversaries if you want to defeat them.”

Sound advice, which obviously his wife refused to hear or accept, presuming the former president offered it to her during the campaign, which by all accounts he attempted to do with minimal success.
As with the first piece of ignored advice about not dehumanizing and underestimating one’s enemies, Hillary Clinton also displayed a complete lack of respect for Trump and his supporters and their ability to upset the media narrative that had her assured of a victory before the battle even began.
Of course, it is doubtful that the former president had his wife’s failed presidential campaign on his mind when he uttered these remarks, but they nevertheless sum up perfectly the fatal flaw of her futile effort, a lack of respect and complete underestimation of an opponent she dehumanized and dismissed.
