Avenatti Tried Playing the Bully on Twitter, Ruthlessly Smacked Down by Strong Conservative Woman
“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
That quote from 2008’s “The Dark Knight” is somewhat appropriate given the rapid ascent and even faster fall of lawyer Michael Avenatti.
When he first burst onto the scene as Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Democrats embraced him as a savior in their crusade against President Donald Trump.
Based on Trump’s recent approval ratings, Avenatti obviously failed miserably to make any sort of a dent in the Trump administration’s armor.
It didn’t take long for Democrats to discard him after many felt that Avenatti’s involvement in the Brett Kavanaugh ordeal actually helped Trump’s nominee get confirmed.
You’d almost feel bad for the man dubbed by Tucker Carlson as a “creepy porn lawyer,” had Avenatti’s fall from grace not been a direct product of his actions.
Avenatti’s latest stumble was just that. Avenatti tried to skewer conservatives on Twitter, only to have it blow up spectacularly in his face.
. @secupp and other conservative hacks see me as a big threat to their beloved president. They are right. I’m not some “carnival barker.” I’m a nearly 20 yr lawyer with over $1 Billion in verdicts and settlements working on behalf of Davids v. Goliaths. And I am coming for Trump.

“@secupp and other conservative hacks see me as a big threat to their beloved president. They are right,” Avenatti said on Twitter. “I’m not some ‘carnival barker.’ I’m a nearly 20 yr lawyer with over $1 Billion in verdicts and settlements working on behalf of Davids v. Goliaths.”
And just in case there was any confusion, Avenatti spelled out his end game in clear terms.
“And I am coming for Trump.”
The irony (or is it idiocy) of Avenatti’s tweet is that the one “conservative hack” he mentioned directly, CNN host and pundit S.E. Cupp, has been a staunch critic of Trump. Cupp and Trump are clearly not fans of each other’s work.
Why does @CNN bore their audience with people like @secupp, a totally biased loser who doesn't have a clue. I hear she will soon be gone!

“Trump’s Twitter habit isn’t just grating on Capitol Hill. It’s grating on voters.” Watch @secupp talk about the President’s corrosive keyboard use with @andylevy, @morninggloria and @ComicDaveSmith. https://t.co/bo5d9K1Z9X

Remember the opening quote to this piece? Cupp all but threw that in Avenatti’s face, calling him the reason Trump remains president.
No, the problem is you are NOT a threat…for those of us “conservative hacks” who oppose Trump, every idiotic thing you do just helps get him re-elected. No one is threatened by you, least of all Trump. #googlealittle https://t.co/fCqyFGEaJc

“No, the problem is you are NOT a threat … for those of us ‘conservative hacks’ who oppose Trump, every idiotic thing you do just helps him get re-elected,” Cupp said in a blistering Twitter response. “No one is threatened by you, least of all Trump.”
Avenatti then further shoved his foot into his mouth with an asinine response to Cupp.
You should leave this to the adults seeing as you can’t seem to get your facts straight. Nobody sees me as a threat? Let’s start here. I have countless other examples. https://t.co/QcDbCuTeCj https://t.co/2PjuRUTQzk

“Nobody sees me as a threat? Let’s start here. I have countless other examples,” Avenatti said. He only cited one example, where Steve Bannon touted Avenatti’s legitimacy as a potential 2020 presidential candidate.
Now why would a staunchly pro-Trump conservative like Bannon stump for Avenatti? There’s no way Bannon would try to prop up a candidate for Trump to annihilate in 2020, right?
Considering Avenatti’s empty bombast and absurd rhetoric, it’s become abundantly clear that he is far more bark than bite. Despite Avenatti’s true colors being exposed, he’s shown no signs of slowing down his campaign of incompetence.
That’s great news for Republicans and conservatives who support Trump.
