Anti-Trumper Gets Taste of Own Side's Medicine When Leftist Mob Mistakes Her for Pro-Trumper

A woman who came to Thursday’s Independence Day “Salute to America” event in Washington, D.C., to protest President Donald Trump’s border policies got a taste of her own side’s medicine after a mob of liberal Twitter users mistook her for a Trump supporter.

It all started after WTOP reporter Alejandro Alvarez posted a picture of “Jill” from Colorado.

Jill was holding an illustration of the “now-infamous” photo of a Salvadorean man and his child, who drowned while trying to cross into the U.S. via the Rio Grande river, as the Washington Examiner noted.

“Shocked by an image of a father and daughter dead on the Rio Grande, Jill from Boulder, CO shows me a dark(er) twist on border-region safety signs warning of immigrants crossing roads,” Alvarez wrote.

Jill was there to protest Trump. But since she appeared to be smiling in the photo, a mob of liberals viciously attacked her.

Here are just few of many, many examples:

WARNING: One of the following tweets contains profane language that some readers may find offensive.

As MintPress News’ Alex Rubinstein noted, some people even tried to have her doxed.

But as Jill later explained to Rubinstein, she was actually there to protest Trump and his border policies.

“This is so not America. American was made up of immigrants,” she said, as Mediaite pointed out. “This is so not America. American was made up of immigrants.”

Do you think the left cares about waiting for the facts to come out?

This entire incident illustrates the dangers of outrage mobs, particularly those on the left.

Those who attacked Jill had no interest in waiting for the facts to come out. They saw the photo and jumped to their own conclusions based off their preexisting assumptions about Trump supporters.

They had no qualms about ruining Jill’s life because of something they thought she believed, even though she didn’t actually believe it.

And that, folks, perfectly encapsulates the American far left.
