Candace Cameron Bure Suffers Gruesome Hand Injury, Hospitalized After Accident

Share

Actress Candance Cameron Bure is known for her sweet personality, wholesome values and strong family ties.

This Christmas season, the 42-year-old “Fuller House” star and Hallmark movie sweetheart decided to take a day to spend time with her siblings.

On Friday, she shared a photo on Instagram of the four of them together. “The Cameron kids 2018,” she posted. “Getting some good ol’ fashioned family time in with my brother and sisters. #FunTimes at my mom and dad’s house.”

Only a short time later that Friday, Cameron Bure shared another moment from family day — but it wasn’t filmed at her parent’s house or a fun destination.

“Our fun family day ended up with me in the emergency room,” she said in the video as she laid in a hospital bed.

Still all smiles, Cameron Bure explained exactly what happened. “Got into a go-karting accident and my brother ran me over! I’m waiting to see if I broke my hand or fractured it or what.”

“I think I bruised my shoulder up pretty badly but I can’t tell because I haven’t taken my shirt off,” she said.

Her brother, Kirk Cameron, was there in the hospital too and was quick to take the blame.

“Hi everybody, I’m the culprit,” he said. “I’m the crazy driver… it was my fault completely, I tried to cut her off and take the lead, bad.”

In a series of photos on her Instagram story, Cameron Bure revealed her gruesome hand injury.

Cameron Bure was quick to assure her fans that she was alright after the accident, saying in an Instagram video on the way home from the hospital, “It’s okay! It’s all good, I’m good!”

Thankfully, her injury isn’t as bad as it could’ve been.

“I’ve been released now, but was in the ER. I am fine… but got some damage to my hand, but it’s not broken, and my shoulder, but it’s not broken.”
