Bono Crosses the Line as U2 Calls Trump Voters Klansmen... Time to Boycott

Share

In a not so surprising turn of events, liberal ban U2 released a disgusting music video which shows President Donald Trump appearing to support Ku Klux Klansmen, among other hateful scenes.

According to Rolling Stone, the video for “Get Out of Your Own Way” was created by Israeli graffiti artists Broken Fingaz Crew.

Billboard reported that the song is U2’s second single off their newest album.

The video depicts multiple disgusting scenes, including a doll version of President Trump opening the blinds in the Oval Office to see a group of KKK members marching past his window.

KKK members are also seen on a subway train, and coming home to a woman and children, as if Trump’s presidency has resulted in large numbers of Klan members walking among us.

Broadway World published a statement from Broken Fingaz Crew about the video.

“The video addresses the current political situation: 2017 for us was the year fascists worldwide felt confident enough to raise their heads again, encouraged by Trump and other world leaders, who use people’s fear to build more walls and segregation,” they said.

“The song is both a personal letter and a clarion cry to the global situation, and in the same way, we’ve combined our psychedelic pop style with political imagery,” the statement continued.

The video was “shot entirely analogue, using paper cut and stop motion animation techniques in collaboration with Adam Albo, who edited the video,” it concluded.

Will you still listen to U2 after this?

See the video below.

Not only is this video a slap in the face to the Trump administration, but also those who voted for the president who are by no means swarms of white supremacists.

U2 is one of the most popular bands in the world, and many of their fans are also Trump supporters and conservatives.

The band is alienating a major chunk of their fan base to make a senseless, hateful political statement.

They are making money off lies based on sensationalism and hate.

Definitely sounds like it’s time for a boycott.
