Ben Shapiro Fires Back with Perfect Response to 'Baby Hitler' Clip

Share

Political commentator Ben Shapiro had the perfect response to liberals who were attacking him for out of context comments about “baby Hitler.”

Shapiro found himself in the middle of a controversy after answering questions during his March for Life appearance on Friday.

It started with Shapiro addressing a common argument used by pro-abortion activists.

“That argument is that abortion lowers the crime rate. That what has lowered the crime rate traditionally has been killing all the would-be criminals,” Shapiro said.

Shapiro went on to say that he’s not comfortable with that line of thinking.

Any sensible person can agree that it’s not necessary to kill babies to lower the crime rate.

One shouldn’t be okay with the idea that it’s okay to kill a baby for crimes that they haven’t even committed.

Do you agree with Shapiro's argument against abortion?

Shapiro used the common “baby Hitler” question as an example.

“The argument, I guess here, is that would you kill baby Hitler? And the truth is that no pro-life person on Earth would kill baby Hitler,” Shapiro said.

Instead of murdering baby Hitler, Shapiro said that the hypothetical time traveler should put baby Hitler in an environment where he won’t grow up to be a terrible person.

“What you presumably want to do with baby Hitler was take baby Hitler out of baby Hitler’s house and move baby Hitler in to a better house where he will not grow up to be Hitler.”

But Shapiro’s complex point about abortion was clipped down to make him seem like he supports Hitler.

Far-left activist Jordan Uhl uploaded only the “Hitler” portion of Shapiro’s comments.

As a result of the deceptive clip, verified Twitter liberals came out of the woodwork to attack Shapiro.

But Shapiro fired back with with the perfect response.

Shapiro reiterated his excellent points about abortion and slammed Uhl for cutting the clip out of context.

Anybody who took the time to investigate Shapiro’s comments understood that his main point was about abortion, not Hitler.

But the left would rather make the discussion about Hitler instead of addressing the gross immorality of abortion.

Shapiro is right — the left is intellectually dishonest.
