Alyssa Milano Scorched After Ignoring California Wildfire Victims, Focusing on 'Saving' Asylum Seekers
Hollywood liberals are the absolute worst.
Never mind their disgustingly smug attitudes. Never mind their patronizing attitudes. Never mind that they think Americans care about how they think we should vote.
No, the most infuriating thing about Hollywood’s “elite” is their complete and utter disconnect from everyday Americans about everyday American issues.
Case in point, look no further than actress Alyssa Milano’s latest liberal crusade.
Milano, an anti-Trump celebrity who has been on television shows such as “Charmed,” took to Twitter to try and raise $100,000 for immigrants seeking asylum in America.
Some friends and I are trying to raise $100,000 today to help some people in the fight of their lives, seeking asylum at our southern border.
Would you be willing to give #FiveForFamilies to help out?https://t.co/r94x8y4sCX pic.twitter.com/JRh1zxMjt5

Predictably, it did not go over particularly well with many Americans who saw much bigger problems in this country.
Some Twitter users blasted Milano for seeking to help asylum seekers (which, for the record, many on the incoming migrant caravan are not) over her fellow Californians dealing with the raging wildfires that have rocked the state.
You are the kind of person I don’t understand at all. We helped save your horses from a fire that was the worst fire in California history. People died. People have absolutely nothing left. They’re living in tents. They are your fellow Americans and neighbors. Help them.

What about the people of #ParadiseFire living in tents #WoolsleyFire victims without private planes 😏 Veterans & families w/children sleeping in the streets? Charity Begins at Homehttps://t.co/5409eGM2RU

Other Twitter users blasted Milano for using her considerable resources of fame and fortune not to help American veterans in need, but rather to help people who aren’t even American citizens.
I wonder if #AlyssaMilano will welcome undocumented migrants into HER OWN HOME or better yet, use her celebrity activist status to raise $ for the 67k #Homeless #American #Veterans already sleeping on the streets in our country! While she’s at it, #wildfires victims! SMH #Caravan

Nope … my money goes to help they homeless Veterans and Americans that deserve it before the migrant caravan….how disgusting are you that you don’t care for your own? Lame AF 🤗

The Twitter savagery went on for quite a while.
To be clear, Milano brought this upon herself. The utter lack of awareness that it takes to stump for immigrants over fellow Americans suffering due to wildfires is nothing short of breathtaking.
And to be clearer, there’s nothing inherently wrong with wanting to help those less fortunate than you, whether they’re immigrants or not. But as Americans, fellow Americans should come first and foremost.
Perhaps if Milano focused more on her own country and her own acting career over disconnected liberal causes, she wouldn’t struggle to find work in Hollywood.
Then again, based on what little I’ve seen of her acting, maybe not.
