Biden Ends Speech After 6 Minutes, Says 'I Have to Go to the Situation Room'
President Joe Biden wrapped up brief remarks at the White House on Monday saying he needed to get to the Situation Room.
At the conclusion of a six-minute speech about Bidenomics, the president said, “I apologize. I have to go to the Situation Room. I have another issue that I have to deal with.”

As Biden was leaving a reporter shouted, “Is the U.S. supporting the hostages for ceasefire deal?”
The president responded, “We should have a ceasefire. Not a ceasefire. We should have those hostages released, and then we can talk.”

The Situation Room is a crisis/intelligence management center located beneath the West Wing of the White House.
“It’s where U.S. presidents and their top aides hold calls with foreign leaders, receive and digest classified information, and watch intelligence feeds showing history unfolding in real-time,” according to CNN.
The New York Times reported Monday that the Biden administration is pushing Israel to delay its expected ground operation into the Gaza Strip aimed at eradicating Hamas terrorists.
The White House wants more time to negotiate for the release of hostages, including Americans, and better prepare for an attack on U.S. forces in the region.
In recent days, there have been a series of attempted drone strikes on U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria from apparent Iranian proxies.
Several Bases operated by U.S. Forces in Eastern Syria have reportedly been Attacked by Drones within the last Hour; this is almost surely once again the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.

Two U.S. officials told the Times that “the advice to the Israelis to hold off on the land war was being conveyed through Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III because the Pentagon is helping advise Israel on military actions, including the ground invasion.”
On Oct. 7, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel from Gaza killing about 1,400 people and capturing a reported 200.
The Islamic group released two Israeli hostages Monday after freeing two Americans last week, according to NBC News.
Other times Biden has been in the Situation Room include during the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama Bin Laden in 2011 when he was vice president.

Biden tracked the Afghanistan withdrawal in August 2021 and monitored the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 from there, as well.
