Photo of Epstein's Alleged Co-Conspirator Was Heavily Edited Before Release
A picture of Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend and alleged co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell is raising some eyebrows after details of the photo reveal it was heavily edited before publication.
The photo, which was supposedly taken after Epstein’s apparent suicide, shows Maxwell reading a book at a Los Angeles, California, In-N-Out Burger.
The New York Post first published the pictures of Maxwell on Thursday.
Maxwell, a longtime associate of Epstein, has been described as an integral part of the disgraced financier’s alleged web of sex crimes and trafficking networks.
The pictures mark the first time Epstein’s alleged madam has been photographed publicly in years. It didn’t take long for amateur sleuths to begin picking apart the photos.

Evidence that the photo had been edited can be seen behind Maxwell and on the opposite bench. It appears that something in the photo was masked on both sides, and surrounding photo material was duplicated to cover it.
The Daily Mail also conducted its own investigation and made some discoveries that seem to indicate the photos are fraudulent.
The first bombshell find was that the photos were reportedly taken by Leah Saffian, a “close friend” and attorney of Maxwell. Further evidence of this, according to the Mail, is that the dog in the photo is believed to actually be Saffian’s.
The Daily Mail is not the only publication to call out the photos’ inconsistencies. Inside Edition also deconstructed the photos in a video posted to YouTube.
Data embedded in the photo also links it to Saffian through Meadowgate Media Investments, Inc, a company where she serves as president.
Researchers even tracked down a billboard seen in the background of one photo advertising the recent movie “Good Boys.” According to the report, the company that owns the ad space denies ever running that advertisement.
Further investigation revealed the actual billboard shows an ad for a local hospital, just as it has since July.
But why would anyone, especially someone who could soon be targeted by the feds as part of the Epstein investigation, want a fake picture circulating?
The Daily Mail maintains that the picture is meant to send investigators down the wrong trail. Instead of living on the West Coast, Maxwell is believed to be living with a friend in Massachusetts.
Wherever Ghislaine Maxwell is, if she was involved in Epstein’s crimes, her life will not be a restful one. Attorney General William Barr vowed to hunt down those connected to Epstein’s sex crimes despite the disgraced financier’s death.
“Let me assure you that case will continue on against anyone who was complicit with Epstein,” Barr said of the Epstein case. “Any co-conspirators should not rest easy.”
“Victims deserve justice and will get it.”
