After 2 Shootings Unrelated to Trump, MSNBC's Deutsch Says Trump Supporters 'Own the Blood'
Ever since dozens of people were killed in a pair of mass shootings over the weekend, liberals and the establishment media have been trying their best to blame President Donald Trump.
Of course, both shootings were completely unrelated to the president.
The suspect who murdered nine people in Dayton, Ohio, appears to have been a leftist, though it’s not clear if he was motivated by any particular ideology.
While the El Paso shooter allegedly posted a disgusting manifesto expressing his hatred for immigrants prior to carrying out his rampage, he made it clear that hatred predated Trump.
Of course, the media doesn’t care. They’ve been trying to tie Trump — and his supporters — to racism for years.
Look no further than MSNBC host Donny Deutsch’s rant Friday morning rant on “Morning Joe,” during which he claimed that Trump supporters “own the blood that happens.”
The MSNBC panel was discussing real estate developer and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, who became the subject of controversy this week after The Washington Post reported that Trump was (gasp) scheduled to attend a fundraising luncheon at Ross’ home.
“While some prefer to sit outside of the process and criticize, I prefer to engage directly and support the things I deeply care about,” Ross later said in a statement, according to CNBC. “I have known Donald Trump for 40 years, and while we agree on some issues, we strongly disagree on many others and I have never been bashful about expressing my opinions.”
“I started my business with nothing and a reason for my engagement with our leaders is my deep concern for creating jobs and growing our country’s economy,” he added.
“I have been, and will continue to be, an outspoken champion of racial equality, inclusion, diversity, public education and environmental sustainability, and I have and will continue to support leaders on both sides of the aisle to address these challenges.”
That wasn’t good enough for Deutsch, who tore into Ross on MSNBC, as Mediaite pointed out.
“Stephen Ross, to me, is the epitome, this election comes down to guys like that, and people saying, ‘No. You don’t get to say I’m for racially equality and all these good things, I disagree with him there,'” Deutsch said, “‘but I like his economic views, I’m going to vote for … ,’ No, you own it.”
So apparently it’s not OK for people to agree with Trump on some things and disagree with him on other issues?
“And I think that’s the message that’s got to get out there,” Deutsch said. “You own it, you own the blood that happens, you own Charlottesville. You can’t do it. You get the whole package. And that’s what swing voters have got to understand and be shamed into.”
Deutsch is essentially saying that swing voters should not weigh the pros and cons of Trump being president, and must abandon him because he personally doesn’t like Trump.
It’s a quite narcissistic sentiment, of course, to assume you know what’s best for millions of people. But I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised — it’s yet another example of the establishment media doing everything in their power to destroy Trump.
