Crenshaw Calls Out AOC, Dems on Major Hypocrisy: 'They Don't Want' Solutions to Border Crisis

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times.

When those on the left have no answers, no solutions and no arguments, then they resort to name-calling.

In fact, I think the left prefers name-calling as a tactic.

The establishment media and progressive politicians constantly coach their audiences to be more passionate about ad hominem attacks than about sound principles.

It’s so much easier for the left to call their opponents “racist,” “bigots” and “sexists” than to actually express a reasoned idea.

And no one does ad hominem attacks better than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.

Just ask Rep. Dan Crenshaw.

The Texas Republican told Fox News on Monday that AOC’s words prove she doesn’t want solutions. Instead, she’s simply looking for fuel to call President Donald Trump evil.

Commenting on a clip of AOC calling for a 9/11-style commission to investigate the Trump administration’s efforts to secure the border, Crenshaw explained Ocasio-Cortez and the left’s strategy.

“The reason they want something like this is to add fuel to the fire,” Crenshaw said. “They want to keep this in the news.”

“Notice that they never come up with a solution,” Crenshaw noted.

“When they talk about the overcrowded facilities, they never have a solution. They don’t have a solution for our immigration system.”

Although the left doesn’t have a solution, they also don’t want Trump to find one.

“They say it shouldn’t be defined by the [Trump] administration,” Crenshaw said.

The problem for the left is that we do have a system of laws. It’s just that liberals don’t like American immigration laws, and thus don’t want them enforced.

Crenshaw told Fox that the left doesn’t desire solutions, but rather want “more commissions like this, more investigations that they can point to and call the president evil.”

“I’m worried that the Democrats like this crisis too much,” Crenshaw said. “They don’t want walls. They don’t want [a] fix to the asylum loopholes. They’re talking about decriminalizing illegal border crossings.”

They left doesn’t even want information about the dangers of illegal immigration.

“I had an amendment the other day that would have just collected data on crimes in sanctuary cities. They said no to that,” Crenshaw said.

Do you think AOC and her supporters want open borders?

Crenshaw concluded that the Democrats’ goal must be open borders.

“We can’t build physical barriers. We can’t do internal enforcement. They get mad when we try to deport criminals. And we can’t collect data. If that’s not open borders, I really don’t know what is,” he said.

“I don’t like accusing people of wanting open borders but does seem to be the debate that we’re having,” Crenshaw added.
