Watch: 'The View' Co-Host Has Audacity To Compare Trump's ICE Raids to Nazi Germany with Jewish Guest on Panel

It has become standard for the co-hosts of ABC’s “The View” to say shocking and outrageous things, particularly in regard to President Donald Trump, but every once in a while one will say something so out of line that she is immediately called on it and rightly shamed.

Outspoken Trump-hater Joy Behar is prone to running off at the mouth while trashing the president, but she crossed the line on Thursday’s program when she compared impending Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency “raids” to collect deportable criminal illegal aliens to the roundup of innocent Jews in Nazi Germany while a descendant of Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust was sitting right next to her.

The Washington Examiner reported that Democratic 2020 candidate and Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet was a guest on “The View” on Thursday when Behar launched into her rant.

Bennet revealed that his mother and her family were Polish Jews, who actually managed to survive the unthinkable horrors of the Holocaust, and made it clear that he didn’t appreciate Behar’s outrageous comparison, even though he disagrees with the Trump administration’s policies on immigration law enforcement.

“So here’s another outrage for you — there are reports today that Trump intends to move forward with his immigration raids targeting migrant families this weekend,” Behar said to Bennet.

“I thought it was supposed to be gangs coming from these places, not families with children. He’s gonna raid these people’s houses and what have you, and it’s very reminiscent of Nazi Germany, just saying.”

“I know you’re not supposed to make that connection, but I’ve been around long enough and read enough to know that this is very similar to what happened to the Jews — go in and take them out of their houses,” Behar added. “What are the Democrats going to do?”

Bennet, who appeared to have a forced, straight face while Behar made the sickening comparison, replied, “Well, we need to stand up to him.”

Has the left gone too far with the constant comparisons of Trump to Nazi Germany?

“Look, my mom and her parents were Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust. She was separated from her family during the course of the war,” he said.

“I’m not equating the Holocaust to this, but I do know something about what happens to somebody permanently if they’ve been separated,” Bennet added.

Countless political pundits and historically ignorant talking heads on the left, like Behar, have made so many incredible comparisons of Trump and his administration to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and his fascist regime over the past several years that it has become nearly ubiquitous.

The shamefully baseless comparison has been so casually flung about by folks like Behar that they don’t even stop to consider how it substantially diminishes the actual horrors and atrocities committed by the Nazis during World War II.

Moreover, they also fail to consider how the casual diminishment of the Holocaust also diminishes the incredibly painful experiences and memories of actual survivors and their descendants of the terrible Holocaust that saw millions of innocent Jews murdered.

Behar and others know that and have been directly told that, yet they insist on making the outrageous comparison with no real regard to the concerns of those who are hurt by them.

As for the ICE “raids” themselves, the agency won’t be summarily rounding up innocent families simply because of their religion or skin color like the Nazis did.

Instead, they will be tracking down and deporting specific individuals who’ve already gone through the entire legal process and been ordered deported by an immigration judge, yet remain in the country nevertheless — a rather substantial difference that apparently is lost on those afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome like Joy Behar.
