'Trumpchella': Huge Crowds Gather To Kick Off Trump ‘45 Fest' in Orlando
President Donald Trump is set to officially kick off his 2020 re-election campaign with one of his trademark rallies in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday night, and it has already become a major event in the central Florida region.
Thousands of people gathered in the morning and afternoon — some arrived to camp out in line nearly two days prior to the start time — ahead of the evening’s festivities, which is an apt description as the event has taken on a sort of massive music festival feel.
Indeed, attendees and the media have already begun to refer to the campaign rally as “45 Fest,” “Trumpfest” and even “Trumpchella,” a take-off on the popular annual Coachella music festival in California.

Orlando’s WKMG-TV reported that the legion of Trump supporters was congregated in an open area adjacent to the Amway Center venue for the rally.

That area, which will no doubt hold the overflow crowd that doesn’t fit into the 20,000-seat arena, was outfitted with massive TV screens and featured a stage with a cover band playing classic Southern rock tunes to entertain the crowd before the event begins.
There are tents and vendors selling food and water and campaign trinkets, which lent a sort of SEC football Saturday tailgate party feel to the whole thing.
The festive spirit of the crowd was not dampened by a heavy downpour that swept through the area and soaked those waiting outside, as WKMG reported.
That storm actually provided a brief respite from the oppressive heat and sunshine of the day.
According to the predominately liberal establishment media, President Trump is unpopular and enjoys minimal support from Americans, and he will lose in embarrassing fashion to one of the many Democratic candidates vying for their party’s presidential nomination in 2020.
Yet, those Democratic hopefuls aren’t stirring excitement among the people, and even the top tier of those contenders are drawing a few hundred — sometimes as little as a few dozen — supporters and potential voters to their campaign events.
Meanwhile, there are tens of thousands of enthusiastic people who have requested tickets and camped out and stood in line for upward of a day or more to attend Trump’s rally that will officially launch his supposedly doomed re-election campaign, to little fanfare from the media.
Playing off how the media is ignoring the rock concert-like air of the crowd of supporters, Trump tweeted Tuesday morning, “The Fake News doesn’t report it, but Republican enthusiasm is at an all time high. Look what is going on in Orlando, Florida, right now! People have never seen anything like it (unless you play a guitar). Going to be wild — See you later!”

If this rally in Orlando is anything like his others, it will be an extraordinary and memorable event for all involved.
Furthermore, if the crowd that he has drawn to this rally is indicative of the support Trump will enjoy in other states heading into 2020, his chances of retaining the White House appear to be pretty darn good.
