Ironic: Pro-Abortion Group Wishes 'Happy Father's Day' to 'All the Pro-Choice Dads Out There'
Sunday was Father’s Day, a day set aside in celebration of fatherhood and in honor of the men who helped create young children and raise them to become adults who are, hopefully, law-abiding and productive members of society.
Fundamentally, Father’s Day is about nothing less or more than the creation of life and the nurturing and protection of that precious life from harm going forward.
Thus, it was incredibly ironic that a major abortion advocacy group NARAL Pro-Choice America — formerly known as the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League — decided that Father’s Day, of all days, was a good one on which to weigh in on with a disturbingly odd pro-choice message.
The group’s Twitter account posted on Sunday: “Happy #FathersDay to all the pro-choice dads out there! #MenForChoice support equality and value bodily autonomy — and that makes them great role models!”

Given that abortion is, at its fundamental core, the taking of a precious unborn human life and prevention of that life from growing through childhood to reach adulthood, Father’s Day — perhaps second only to Mother’s Day — is arguably the worst possible day of the year for abortion advocates to promote their murderous, life-ending ideology.
Indeed, the very act of abortion that NARAL advocates and celebrates would prevent so-called “#MenForChoice” from even becoming a father in the first place, which makes the Father’s Day message from NARAL as nonsensical as it is ironic.
TheBlaze noted that the irony of NARAL’s message was not lost or overlooked by a great many Twitter users, and shared some of the more pointed responses that the post had received.
Some of those responses included commentary on NARAL’s utter lack of self-awareness — an increasingly widespread problem with the left, in general, these days — and the obvious reality that adherence to NARAL’s pro-abortion agenda is, for all intents and purposes, entirely antithetical to the very point of Father’s Day.
One user aptly noted how the current position of many abortion advocates was that men had no say on the issue, which, if true, would essentially render NARAL’s message for pro-choice men null and void.
Another user pointed out how it was unclear who pro-choice dads would be “great role models” for, considering there would be no future generations to need role models if NARAL’s agenda were succesful.
One of the more serious and powerful responses to NARAL’s tweet came from staunch pro-life advocate Obianuju Ekeocha, who wrote, “#FathersDay message from NARAL is unreal. They are wishing a ‘Happy Father’s Day’ to pro-choice dads.”
“Note to NARAL ‘pro-choice dads’ are men who have participated and cooperated in the killing of their children. Pro-choice dad is oxymoronic,” she added.
#FathersDay message from NARAL is unreal.
They are wishing a “Happy Father’s Day” to pro-choice dads.
Note to NARAL? “pro-choice dads” are men who have participated and cooperated in the killing of their children.

This Father’s Day post from NARAL was indeed the height of oxymoronic foolishness and un-self-aware stupidity that would have been better left not posted.
There is, however, perhaps one redeeming thing that can be drawn from this absurd and horrifying message — the overwhelming number of responses in opposition to NARAL’s post shows that the pro-life movement is both strong and growing and more than ready to take on and defeat those who advocate for the murder of unborn babies.
