Watch Joe Biden's Innocuous Comment About Dick Cheney That Has Triggered the Left
The far-left had a meltdown over an old clip of former Vice President Joe Biden saying nice things about his predecessor, Dick Cheney.
There are few politicians who have been as villainized as often as Cheney, who liberals view as a warmonger and puppet master of the Bush administration.
To the far left, it’s a cardinal sin to even acknowledge Cheney as a “decent man,” as Biden did in a 2015 interview.
“First of all, I actually like Dick Cheney, for real,” Biden said. “I get on with him. I think he’s a decent man.”
The Young Turk’s Emma Vigeland posted the video on Twitter, noting that Biden’s comments were made “without irony,” implying that it’s a bad thing to admit political opponents can be decent people.
Joe Biden: “I actually like Dick Cheney… I get on with him. I think he’s a decent man.”
He adds that Cheney was “extremely helpful” about the “legal parameters” of the VP office. Without irony.
Mondale then says his view of Cheney is “a little bit different.” The crowd laughs pic.twitter.com/udjSlSCrZV

The video was posted on Thursday, and it has already garnered more than 12,000 likes and hundreds of anti-Biden comments from far-left Twitter users.
Take note that Biden didn’t praise Cheney’s politics and only referred to him as a “decent man.”
That small amount of praise was enough to send the left into a frenzy.
“Cheney belongs in Guantanamo with Bush and the rest of his admin for lying the US into two wars,” one Twitter user wrote.
Cheney belongs in Guantanamo with Bush and the rest of his admin for lying the US into two wars.
War is bad.
War under false pretenses is even worse.
That should be obvious yet Biden thinks he can alter history and basic decency to defend himself for supporting the Bush admin.

“Sooooo when’s the announcement that he’s dropping out. Soon? He just basically said Cheney was a “very fine person” sound familiar?” another far-left Twitter user said, complete with an image of Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reacting.

“I’m a solid NOPE for Biden,” another user added.

This anti-Biden frenzy shows how the left operates. Leftists are unwilling to view their political opponents as human beings and shun any candidates who deviate from the increasingly radical far-left agenda.
Politicians used to brag about “bipartisanship,” but now it’s “disqualifying” to admit that your political opponents can be “decent” people.
