Dan Crenshaw Explodes, Completely Dismantles Feinstein's 'Fact Check' on Border Wall

Share

Don’t let his sense of humor or his forgiveness fool you.

Republican Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw is still a former Navy SEAL and very much knows how to annihilate his opposition when needed.

The latest person to draw the wrath of Crenshaw is California senator — and the rather unpopular — Dianne Feinstein.

The 85-year-old Feinstein tweeted an attack on the very notion of border security.

“Fact check: Nearly half of all undocumented immigrants come to the United States legally but then overstay their visas. A border wall would do nothing to curb visa overstays,” she snidely remarked on Twitter.

Excuse me. She tried to attack the very notion of border security … before Crenshaw exploded on her with the perfect mixture of snark and facts.

“Why are you arguing with a point that no one is making?” Crenshaw astutely pointed out in his Twitter response.

Do you think Crenshaw is going to do great things for this country?

Crenshaw was dead right in his assessment. If a person is suffering from both a headache and a foot ache, it makes no sense to not treat the foot just because it won’t alleviate the headache. It’s an asinine strawman argument, and a really poor attempt at it to boot.

“This border security plan is about the nearly 400,000 illegal aliens apprehended crossing the border last year,” Crenshaw added. “Fact check.”

Ouch.

We reached out to Feinstein for comment on Crenshaw’s comments and received no response. She hasn’t responded on Twitter either.

That may be because she has no retort. Crenshaw completely took apart her poor attempt at Twitter pandering.

This is hardly the first time that Crenshaw has dismantled a Democrat who is trying to argue a position that no Republicans or conservatives are actually taking.

Remember when the media fabricated faux outrage over New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s college dance video? Crenshaw jumped into that too when Ocasio-Cortez began believing her own hype.

Good for Rep. Crenshaw. He is a much-needed jolt of reason in an increasingly erratic and hostile political landscape.
