Alyssa Milano Tries to Send Tough Message, Comments Tear Her Apart

Share

Before her endorsement of Bernie Sanders and other poor decisions, Alyssa Milano became known through acting.

Despite landing roles in films such as ‘Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure’ and ‘Dinotopia: Quest for the Ruby Sunstone,’ Milano apparently has to continue grinding out pandering Twitter posts to make ends meet.

‘Gilead’ is a reference to the world of ‘Handmaid’s Tale,’ a world where the government of the United States is overthrown and replaced by a quasi-theocracy.

Although the book was written in 1985, the television adaptation has twisted it into the ‘Red Dawn’ of the #resist movement. In one scene, the main character walks into an abandoned Boston Globe office only to find evidence that the entire news room was lined up and gunned down.

Do you think Alyssa Milano wanted people to recognize her at the protest?

The Boston Globe has come out in support of gun control measures, which only deepens the mystery of how the bullet holes got there.

The picture appears to be taken at a protest with no armed security in sight. Famous actress Alyssa Milano must not care who recognizes her protesting.

But as she found out after posting the picture, the internet can be a pretty unforgiving place no matter how famous you are.

Someone even whipped up a ‘Little House on the Prairie’ scene.

When not heroically fighting fascism, freeing chained dogs, or dressing in vegetables, Milano even has time to accept awards.

Alyssa Milano has won two Young Artist Awards, the UNICEF Spirit of Compassion Award, and even landed 7th on AOL’s ‘TV’s Top Witches.’ Although nominated four times for a Kid’s Choice Award, she has only won three (a child’s brain doesn’t fully develop until 25, so we’ll chalk it up to that).

Disclaimer: The only movie on Milano’s filmography I’ve seen is ‘Commando.’
