Liberal Actor Attacks Laura Ingraham: You're a 'Sweaty... Filthy Pig'

Share

It’s not too difficult for a conservative to find themselves on the wrong side of Twitter’s terms of service. Simply getting on the wrong side of the social media giant’s suzerains once can be enough to have a conservative’s account suspended.

If you’re a liberal, though, things are a bit easier — to the point where one actor went on his second degrading, misogynist rant against Fox News host Laura Ingraham, this time for her denunciation of high school activist David Hogg — and barely a single thing has happened to him.

The actor is Michael Rapaport, who has appeared in “Prison Break,” “Dr. Doolittle 2” and “Boston Public.” These days, he’s known mostly as a public personality. This is interesting, because his personality is about as grating and bigoted as you can get.

Last month, Rapaport told Fox News host Ingraham that she could “dribble these n–s, b—-” after she said that basketball players Kevin Durant and LeBron James should stick to basketball instead of political opining.

He deleted that video after being suspended for seven days, but apparently hasn’t learned his lesson — either with conservative females in general or Ingraham in particular.

“Laura Ingraham, the Fox News reporter, you filthy pig. You dog-faced animal,” Rapaport said in a new video posted to social media this week.

“I said, infamously, you should shut up and dribble these n–s. Remember her? And now Laura Ingraham, this savage, this dog, this mutt. … She’s a sweaty pig. She’s going after this high school student,” he said.

Do you think Michael Rapaport should be suspended from Twitter?

“Who do you like Laura? You obviously have an affinity for d—stained Donald Trump. But who do you like? Why don’t you go away, go back to the swamps. To the sewage system to the ravine that you crawled out of. You f—ing pig you.”

Well, that convinced me. By the way, Rapaport has apparently deleted this video, too, at least from his Twitter account, though he continues to retweet other people being outraged about it who are also including the clip. And the filthy video is still up on his Instagram page.

During the video, Rapaport also accuses Ingraham of being a secret Nazi because of her wave at the Republican National Convention. Just in case you were convinced this was an otherwise stable man who had a profanity-filled lapse of judgement. Twice.

By the way, to refute all of Rapaport’s points in one simple paragraph: Hogg has entered into the public debate over gun-grabbing due to the fact that he’s become the public face of the heavily-astroturfed March for Our Lives.

I personally have more contempt for liberals like Rapaport who hide behind the soldiers of the children’s crusade, giving all of us the “how dare you?!” treatment when we deign to criticize people who have openly said they want to take away our guns.

However, at least Hogg isn’t a coward like Rapaport, who hides behind high school students simply because they’re high school students, then uses that fact to make his misogynist rants palatable.

Rapaport apparently hasn’t received a suspension this time, so either Twitter is more willing to protect David Hogg than LeBron James or they’ve simply become inured to talk of a C-movie actor’s scrotal tissue. Either way, it’s a pretty good indication of just where Twitter’s interests lie.
