Dems Sweating Bullets After Numbers Come in From SOTU Speech
Despite what the Democrats will tell you, last night’s State of the Union address was a huge win, not only for the president, but for the American people. The speech was a stark contrast to the anti-American rhetoric being spewed by the Democrat party.
Now, after polling has concluded, we’re seeing just how much the American people loved the pro-America speech given by President Trump.
A CBS News / YouGov poll has recently been released, and the results couldn’t be more devastating for the Democrat party. According to CBS News, the poll was “based on 1,178 interviews conducted on the internet of U.S. residents who watched the State of the Union Address. Panelists were previously interviewed on January 29-30, 2018 to indicate whether they planned to watch the address, and if they were willing to be re-interviewed after the address.”
The poll results show that a whopping 75 percent of viewers approved of the speech given by the president.

Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse for the Democrats, it does.
According to the poll, a majority of those watching were Republicans, at 42 percent, which is to be expected. Twenty-five percent of those watching were Democrats, which is likely where the 25 percent disapproval rating came from. So who were the remaining 33 percent of viewers? None other than Independents.

It appears from this poll that Trump was able to win the approval of not just his base, but from those in the center. This will be huge factor when elections roll around this fall, and eventually for the 2020 presidential election.
Those weren’t the only numbers that are concerning for the left, either.
Here are some other numbers to take a look at:
- Fifty-four percent of viewers say Trump’s policies in the speech will help them.
- Sixty-five percent of viewers say Trump’s speech made them feel proud.
- Fifty-four percent of viewers say Trump should receive “a lot” of credit for the booming economy.
- Seventy-two percent of viewers approve of Trump’s immigration policies.
- Eighty-one percent of viewers say Trump was trying to unite the country with his speech.
All of these numbers point to one thing: a disaster for the Democrats in upcoming elections. You know Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer must be calling each other today asking how they will recover from this speech.
One thing was made quite clear last night. The Democrats aren’t just anti-Trump, they are anti-America. Thankfully, it seems a good number of Americans are beginning to see that.
