Flashback: Here's How the MSM Covered Hillary's Health
When conservative media outlets raised legitimate concerns about then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s murky health situation during the 2016 election, the media recoiled in horror, acting as if the mere questioning of her well-being amounted to sexism of the most deplorable kind.
“Can’t a girl have a sick day or two?” CNN host Christiane Amanpour pleaded in September of that year, as reported then by Fox News. “When it comes to overqualified women having to try a hundred times harder than underqualified men to get a break or even a level playing field, well, we know that story.”
This despite Clinton having literally fainted while abruply leaving a 9/11 memorial ceremony earlier that very same month.
Watch:
Question: Has President Donald Trump ever once fainted, coughed nonstop like someone suffering from bronchitis, or suffered from “brain fog?”
The answer is no. In fact, when the White House physician, Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, presented the results of an extensive examination to the media earlier this month, he made it clear Trump had performed exceptionally well.
“President Donald Trump is in excellent overall health and achieved a perfect score on a cognitive test that the president requested as part of his first formal medical exam since taking office, the White House’s top physician announced,” The Chicago Tribune reported just a week ago, adding that, according to Jackson, Trump shows no signs of heart disease.
Yet stunningly enough, the same media that gave Clinton an automatic pass suddenly found it difficult to accept the results of this examination, with some even going so far as to outright dispute Jackson’s findings.
“(T)he president has heart disease — those numbers qualify him for having heart disease, and he clearly needs a plan to try and prevent some heart problem down the road,” argued “fake news” CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, on Wednesday.
Watch the video below to observe firsthand the differences between how the media covered Clinton’s health concerns and how it has chosen to cover Trump’s near-perfect health:
This is why a record number of Americans do not take the mainstream media seriously anymore.
Case in point:
Well said by all three ladies.
I’m sorry, but the mainstream media in America are hypocritical, phony jokes, as are their claims that Trump suffers from heart disease but Clinton’s healthier than a horse.
It didn’t fly during the election, and it’s not flying now.
