Governor May Be Getting Visit from Men in Black After Physically Threatening Trump

Share

Outgoing Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, who in related news reportedly pardoned a slew of armed robbers this week in advance of his term in office expiring Saturday, vividly described on national television this Thursday his fantasy of beating up President Donald Trump.

“You would have to pick him up off the floor,” McAuliffe told MSNBC host Chris Matthews, responding to a question regarding how he would react if Trump tried to intimidate him the way he (Trump) allegedly intimidated then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during the election debates two years ago.

“Listen, if this guy got in my space — you wanna get in my space? I’ve always said, ‘Chris, you punch me, I’m going to punch back twice as hard.’ And, it wouldn’t be hard to do it. But, you know, this guy thinks he can intimidate everybody. It’s disgraceful. It’s embarrassing,” he continued.

“If he ever came over and leaned on me and got in my space, that would be the last time Donald Trump ever did that.”

I’m sure Trump, who stands six foot three inches tall weighs 236 pounds, is trembling in his boots right now.

Not!

Just to clarify, Trump never tried to intimidate Clinton during the debates in 2016, as the Conservative Tribune explained at the time.

Do you think the Secret Service should pay him a visit?

What actually occurred was that during one particular town hall-styled debate in October, Clinton approached the audience from Trump’s side of the room.

When she did, Trump first impatiently circled the stage and then took a standing position by his podium, which just happened to be located behind Clinton:

Dovetailing back to McAuliffe’s menacing remarks, he made them the same week that he granted conditional pardons to several convicted thugs. As a reminder, the last time McAllife pardoned a bunch of thugs two years ago, one of them went on to commit some armed robberies.

And here McAuliffe is now, in 2018, not only releasing more thugs, but acting like a thug himself on live national television. He must be so proud.

Because what McAuliffe said falls short of a direct threat, it remains unclear whether the Secret Service actually intends to pay him a visit.

But if you ask me, they should not only visit him — they might want to rearrest McAuliffe’s beloved pardoned thugs as well.
