Family Store of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Burglarized, Beth Chapman's Personal Items Stolen
Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, who has been grieving the loss of his late wife, Beth Chapman, was notified that burglars allegedly robbed his Colorado merchandise store sometime during the afternoon of August 1.
According to The Blast, thieves broke into the Edgewater shop and stole not only merchandise but personal items that had belonged to Beth Chapman.
A makeshift memorial had been set up for Beth Chapman inside the store after her death at age 51 in June. Some of her personal items had been placed at the memorial, including some of her bounty-hunting gear, which was taken.
According to E! News, the Jefferson County Dispatch confirmed they were called to the family shop on August 1 in regard to a break-in.

Photos showed smashed glass with dark red tape marking a door that had been vandalized.
Dog the Bounty Hunter also seemed to confirm the report on social media, writing some strong words to the responsible party:
“The Bible says it is an unforgivable sin to steal from the dead,” Duane Chapman wrote. “LARGE CASH REWARD FOR ANY INFORMATION FOR WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS !!!”

According to Entertainment Tonight, one of Chapman’s store employees first noticed signs of a break-in after stopping by the store to get some work done.
“The thieves not only took new merchandise but they took items that personally belonged to Beth,” the outlet reported, quoting an anonymous source.

“Dog is devastated,” the source added, according to ET. “He’s distraught.”
Police are fully investigating the crime, ET reported, and are working to bring swift resolution to the crime that has violated the entire Chapman family.
It seems a bit of an oversight to rob a man who makes tracking down criminals his life’s work, but plenty of people are on the case. The Chapman family has spread a detailed description of the items lost so someone, somewhere, will see something and say something.
“The official Dog and Beth merchandise store was robbed on Thursday,” they said, according to People. “Not only did the thieves take thousands of dollars of clothing, these criminals took priceless personal belongings of our beloved Beth, including tributes to her kindly left by our amazing fans. We are working with our friends in law enforcement to find these perpetrators, and are offering a cash reward to anyone who provides information about their identity. To whoever did this, you better watch out. Dog is coming for you.”
