Chip and Joanna Gaines never fail to impress. The “Fixer Upper” couple often appears to have it all from the charmed farm life to the sweetest family photos — complete with smiling children.

The authors, entrepreneurs and parents of five live a busy life but a full one, often posting about upcoming projects and days spent outdoors with their kids.
“I wanted to find a creative way to connect with the kids,” Joanna shared on Instagram when her children’s book — “We Are the Gardeners” — was released.
“So we planted this little garden in the backyard and it ended up becoming our favorite thing to do together.”

The Gaines family may make it look like they have it all together most of the time, but they’re just like anyone else. They have their struggles and their days aren’t always perfect.
When Joanna’s cookbook “Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering” hit the shelves in 2018, there wasn’t a die-hard Gaines fan around who didn’t scramble to get their hands on a copy.
It hasn’t even been a year yet, but we can never get enough Magnolia recipes, right? If you’ve been wondering when the next cookbook might release, Joanna recently posted a fun video on Instagram that just might whet your appetite.
“After months of developing and finalizing recipes, we are excited to start shooting Volume Two of our cookbook!” Joanna wrote in the caption. She can also be seen holding 11-month-old Crew, the youngest of the Gaines clan.
But watch what happens when you click that “play” button. The remainder of her caption becomes perfectly clear — “Gonna have to talk with this little one’s agent about his on-set behavior….”

Though no release date has been set for the new cookbook — which is sure to be filled with scrumptious new recipes — fans can visit the Magnolia blog to view the Gaines’ menu for summer 2019 at their restaurant, Magnolia Table.
Every mom struggles to make it work when it comes to photographing their kids, and Joanna Gaines is no different. She’s as “normal” as the rest of us, if there is such a thing.

What do you hope to see in the new Magnolia cookbook? I, for one, hope some of these candid and not-so-perfect photos of Crew are included. You don’t get much more down to earth and “at home” than a toddler who’d rather toddle than smile for the camera.
