Nicole Kidman Remembers Exact Moment She Knew Keith Urban Was 'The One'

Love knows no boundaries, and for actress Nicole Kidman and singer Keith Urban, the moment they fell in love has been etched in their minds forever.

Kidman recently opened up about Urban in an interview with People where she told the beloved story of how she knew Urban was the one she wanted to be with forever.

Back in 2005, the pair had only recently met at an event in Los Angeles. They grew closer after dating the over the next few months.

Urban did what all women hope a man will do, and made an over-the-top romantic gesture to prove his love for her.

“It was my [38th] birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York,” she told People. “That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry.’”

Kidman also revealed that Urban once took her on a bike trip from New York City to see the Woodstock musical festival site from 1969.

“It was pretty intense,” Kidman told People. “I believed by that point he was the love of my life.

“Maybe that’s because I am deeply romantic, or I’m an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, ‘Oh, okay, here he is,’” she added.

One year after Urban’s grand gesture in the gardenias and the bike trip to Woodstock, the pair got married in Australia.

The two have been together ever since, setting up a home in Nashville, Tennessee.

The couple has two daughters – Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8.

The love that Kidman and Urban display is something every couple strives for, and the magic they share is apparent in everything they do together.
