Strangers on Highway Band Together, Safely Box In Drunk Driver and Push Him off Road

Share

When a driver gets behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol, it can cause an accident that could be deadly.

Helpless victims are at the mercy of these drivers. Thankfully in one case, a band of strangers was watching out for others on the road.

On a typical sunny day, these strangers noticed a car endangering them and others on the road.

Ahead, a truck was swerving and riding the shoulder.

“Oh Man! Back up back up!” one man exclaimed in his car as he saw the events unfolding before him.

The men, driving their own vehicles decided to take matters into their own hands without saying a word to each other. They just knew they had to do something.

They surrounded the drunk driver and safely ran him off the road onto the grass, literally using their vehicles as a shield.

The group of men then rushed to the driver before he could cause any more harm.

They demanded his keys and told him to stay right where he was.

The drunk driver was obviously “plastered” as one man commented.

The driver was all out of sorts and clearly in no condition to drive.

Making matters worse was the miles-long backup on the highway the drunk driver caused.

Thankfully, this group of strangers was able to save the day and keep the roads safe when there wasn’t a trooper in sight.

It would have been easy for this group of men to drive around and pass the drunk driver, but they knew that they had to help.

Keeping the highway safe is everyone’s job, and these men took their mission seriously.

Drinking and driving is no joke, and these men proved that it is everyone’s responsibility to make sure that no one gets behind the wheel after a few drinks.
