Adorable Baby Wrapped in Soldier Daddy's Arms for 1st Time in Heartwarming Video
Military men and women perform some of the toughest jobs in America. They leave their families behind to fight for their country’s freedom, missing out on many memories with their children.
But often times, it is the spouses that are left behind that have the hardest time, as they must raise their families on their own knowing that their beloved partner is miles away.
For these spouses, the reunion with their loved one is momentous.
Emotions rush in, and they are relieved and happy that their partner is finally back from duty.
Some women face a particularly difficult challenge as they give birth to a child while their partner is away. They are off protecting the country, and these mothers do not know when their new child’s father will return.
For Jordan Cummins’ wife Brittany, this was exactly the case. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lillie while Jordan was away.
When Cummins returned home from duty, no one knew how Lillie would react to seeing her father for the first time.
With sign that read, “Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, my name is Lillie, and I am your baby! Welcome home,” Cummins was welcomed with open arms by his little girl.
Cummins finally had the opportunity to see his little one for the first time and the moment was beyond precious.
Lillie welcomed her dad the way any little girl that missed her own would.
She laid her head on his chest just like she had known him forever.
With tons of kisses and plenty of hugs, dad showed Lillie the love he had for her, and she responded with tons of smiles.
She was showered by kisses from both her mom and dad and even got a little foot tickle to make sure she knew there would be plenty of fun ahead with dad.
Brittany also got the love of her life back and was swept off her feet once again by seeing him.
With a huge kiss and a loving embrace, the Cummins family was reunited with Lillie by their side, making for a picture perfect moment.
Welcome home, Jordan, and thank you for your service. We are happy that you are finally back with your family. They missed you!
