Dad Raises Son Right, Films Him Opening Car Door for Mom and Sister
Raising kids right in our current culture and society can be a challenge. With so much hate going around, it would be easy for kids to grow up to become hate-spreaders themselves.
Fortunately, there are still a good number of parents out there who desire to teach their children values such as humility, empathy and chivalry.
Take this polite boy who loves dinosaurs, for example. Noel can not only name every dino his mother hands him, but he thanks her for them over and over again as well.
What a sweet little boy! Props to his mother for teaching him such good manners. It’s obvious he’s already growing into a well-mannered young man.
The value of simple words like “please” and “thank you” has been lost to some. People take what they want without courtesy or gratitude.
Many women want to be independent, but a push for “equality” has discouraged the gentlemen in our communities.
There are even women who become offended when men open their doors. Personally, I welcome any man who wants to hold open a door for me, young or old.
My dad always did it for me and my son will do it for the ladies in his life too. There’s nothing wrong with teaching our young men how to show love and respect for others.
Which is why the “Dad of the Year” award goes to Mr. Shannon Banks. He’s raising his son to be “somebody’s husband and somebody’s father,” according to the caption on this adorable video.
Though only 4 years old, this little guy has more manners than many people three times his age. Watch as this young gentleman shows others how it’s done.
The best part is when he even waits for his dad to get in the car! Priceless! He’s definitely going to make a good husband and father someday.
It’s clear that Banks is deeply invested in his son’s upbringing. Another video he posted with his son when he was two shows how much Banks cares about what his children learn.
“My kids don’t know the latest rap songs,” he wrote in the caption. “The words can’t and try, are like bad words in my house. They are learning applicable knowledge.”
Love how the toddler responds that his net worth is “billions.” Adorable. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing much more of this mature little guy in the future.
