Parents of 2 Adopt 4 More, Show Blissful Chaos of Day-To-Day Life

A big family can certainly be a handful. But with that handful usually comes lots of love and support from those closest to you.

When Angela and Christopher Braniff got married, they knew they wanted a big family. But the couple never anticipated just how much their family would grow over the years.

Many couples struggle with fertility issues, and the Braniffs were no different. While they were blessed early on with two beautiful girls, the pair ran into difficulties when it came to continuing to fill their nest.

Following Angela’s bout with the nausea-inducing hyperemesis gravidarum, she and Christopher decided another pregnancy would not work in her favor. Like many other couples, they decided to look into the journey toward adoption.

From there, the family began to grow, just like the Braniffs always dreamed it would. Still, they couldn’t have expected their average family of four would more than double in size.

Today, the family of 9 lives a life full of love and chaos. With 7 kids in the house, their daily routine never slows down.

“We thought we’d have like 3 or 4,” Angela said in a video. “And now we’ve ended up here. With 7.”

Angela helps support the family through vlogging about their life. The Braniffs can be seen on their YouTube channel, This Gathered Nest, living it up everywhere from their day-to-day home life to a Disney dream trip.

“I just want them to remember the love that we all have for each other,” Angela commented. “… at the end of the day… they just remember how they felt. Did they feel loved today?”

When asked if the Braniffs planned to adopt more children, they admitted their hands are pretty full. However, the couple isn’t closed to the idea.

“If there’s a kid out there that needs a home, and we have the ability and the space in our hearts to do something, I’m sure we would,” Christoper said.
