Try their Chocolate Gooey Brownie made with chocolate ice cream mixed with extra gooey house-baked brownies stuffed with marshmallow fluff!

It can’t get any better than a waffle cone with scoops of delicious ice cream under toasted marshmallow at Bona Bona Ice Cream.

Originally sold out of the Bona Bona Ice Cream truck, they will soon be opening up their first storefront in Port Chester, New York. In addition, their truck of Bona Bona mouth-watering goodness is available for private events.

Make sure to try their B Dough (brownie cookie dough) topped with toasted marshmallow!

Little Man Ice Cream

This ice cream shop located in Denver, Colorado, is unique, no doubt.

Business is conducted within a cream can that is 28 feet tall and 14,000 pounds. Not to mention, every scoop of ice cream purchased at Little Man Ice Cream matches that scoop with a donated scoop of rice, beans, or other essentials to a community in need around the world.

Anything from ice cream sammies, sundaes, splits, malts, shakes and floats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Don’t miss out on the Chunky Chocolate with a handmade, dipped waffle cone!

A hot glazed bun with a uniquely flavored ice cream like Milk and Cereal, Cookie Monster and Jasmine Milk Tea stuffed in between … that’s some next level stuff right there.

We recommend stopping by any of their 25+ locations in California and picking up a glazed bun sammie with Cookie Monster ice cream (made of all kinds of cookies & cream and fudge)!

McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams

At McConnell’s, they have one goal: to make the world’s finest ice cream.

They achieve this is by having exceptionally high standards across the board. They use high quality, organic ingredients wherever and whenever possible, and their hormone and antibiotic free milk & cream are from locally-raised, grass-grazed cows.

And we can certainly taste the quality and the love put into each of their extravagant ice cream flavors!

This ice cream shop serves ice cream that has a uniquely smooth texture and buttercream body — and all are without the use of synthetic flavorings, dyes, or off-the-shelf mixes.

Are you a chocoholic? Try their Roxbury Road ice cream made of dense milk chocolate ice cream with salty smoked almonds, marshmallows made from scratch in the kitchen, and a swirl of sweet, buttery caramel sauce. Don’t forget to add a side of waffle wedges!

Fifty Licks

Do you like ice cream made from scratch with local ingredients and tons of cage-free egg yolks for a luscious, rich texture? We do too, and that’s why we’re a fan of Fifty Licks.

They also have an interesting variety of flavors that work more than well together — especially inside a light and crispy waffle cone.

Make sure to try their Chocolate AF ice cream — a super duper dark chocolate with housemade ganache. You can also get it between two warm chocolate chip cookies or even Affagato Cubano style- drenched with freshly-brewed Cuban coffee.

Humphry’s Slocombe

Humphry’s Slocombe keeps pushing the limits of ice cream flavors.

From Jalapeno Corn Bread, Matchadoodle, Butterbeer, and Toast & Jam, they basically have more unique ice cream flavor options than you have time for.

Although their huge abundance of flavors may come off as odd or intimidating, we can assure you they are insanely good!

Celebrate National Chocolate Ice Cream Day with their Malted Milk Chocolate ice cream — a combination of 72 percent dark and 38 percent milk chocolate with a punch of malt. We also recommend the Secret Breakfast — one of their most popular signature flavors made of bourbon ice cream with cornflakes. You read that right, bourbon.

These popular ice cream shops are totally worth a visit on National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, or any day for that matter because hey, who’s to say we can’t eat ice cream every day of the year?
