Audience Member Disrupts 'The View,' Asks Why Whoopi Didn't Leave US After Trump's Win

Share

This was one question Whoopi Golberg didn’t answer.

At a taping of ABC’s “The View,” a man in the audience disrupted the proceedings to remind Goldberg that she talked about leaving the country if Donald Trump were elected president.

During the 2016 presidential election, Hollywood liberals threw a temper tantrum when they saw Trump’s growing popularity.

Several acted out by threatening to leave the United States if Trump was elected.

If only we were that lucky.

After going on a rant about Trump in January 2016, long before the billionaire had even won the Republican nomination, Goldberg hinted that the prospect of a Trump presidency was unbearable.

“Maybe it’s time for me to move, you know,” she said. “I can afford to go.”

Despite Trump’s eventual win, and two years into his presidency, Goldberg is still living in the United States and likely making a lot of money as host of “The View.”

In a video uploaded online, Twitter user Harry Cherry went directly to Goldberg to remind her that she has neglected to pack her bags.

“You said that when President Trump was elected, you would move out of the United States,” Cherry said. “Why haven’t you moved out of the United States?”

Goldberg didn’t answer, but I think everyone knows why she hasn’t moved.

There are no better alternatives to the United States, which has limitless opportunity, especially in entertainment and entrepreneurship.

It’s ironic that liberals are unwilling to permanently live in countries run by liberal policies.

Liberals aren’t rushing to live in the socialist utopia of Venezuela.

Would you be glad to see Trump-hating celebrities move to other countries?

Hollywood liberals wouldn’t even follow through with threats to move to Canada. The wealthy actors probably realized how ludicrous Canada’s taxes are.

On Tuesday, The Guardian published a list of celebrities who failed to follow through on their threats to move to Canada.

Among those who decided to remain in the United States are rapper Snoop Dogg and actress Barbara Streisand.

Here’s an excerpt from a Streisand interview with the Australian program “60 Minutes” in August of 2016.

Actress Lena Dunham was one of the most vocal Hollywood liberals threatening to move.

“I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will,” Dunham said, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter from April 2016.

Like Goldberg and the others, Dunham has stayed.

As much as the left hates Trump, they still believe that America is the best country to live in, even if they won’t admit it.
